Keen to keep our local routes. Once traffic lights away georgetown should b fine.In my experience west ferry equally fine for 10 & 25 as is evidenced by no of tt events on it this year starting with st Christopher at end of this month and I note quite a few of my jwcc chums have entered. I think that one of reasons for nos going down is it's longer and tts are tough. If u move us to A77 I would have to buy a house next to Chung and that would b dangerous. Anyway just to annoy those of u at work or going there I am now heading to the smooth roads of Roubaix au revoir

Awful ride tonight peloton got split at red smiddy 0 due to traffic. 5 of us did not get through. I made schoolboy error of going thru alone but no chance of catching bunch so slowed down for next 3 riders who simply flew past me. Game over ploughed a lonely furrow to Kilmalcolm where Greg joined me. Bunch then came thru and got a fast tow to bridge of weir. Saw that Colin and George were there and looking good. Hard lesson tonight but now resting till Saturday

Bit of an embarrassing moment for me today at Dooleys. Went in to buy some gel bars and asked for usual jwcc discount to be told ithat Dooleys no longer sponsor us. Have I missed a post .

The intention is to have the club store open this week W/C 3rd March. Short notice I know but I did post previously that my goal was to have everything in place for the start of March with delivery early April - Delivery times are 5 weeks at present. You could ask a fellow member to order for you and square up with them.
 
Fret not if you miss this, we can open up the store again at any time the only restriction is the total club spen is £200 in order to avoid admin charges. Something we should be able to do easily.

I will go for s/sl skinsuit just to support Richard but no way I am wearing it unless a good boy over lent

Met Mcginty bill and Ian cowden at largs stop. After largs tough ride to ardrossan again into wind. A few riders fell by the wayside leaving me Jim cusick Lewis Ritchie and Lindsay . By this time I had given up going thru and just hung on till just after barmill turnoff when Lindsay and I lost the wheel but to our credit kept the. 3 guys in sight till I turned off at Lugton . Very slow ride home as my thighs were burning. Brilliant day

I have registered today. Have yet to tell the missus. Hope some kind soul will give me a berth in their car. I am still unwell and now on a course of antibiotics so at least I have an excuse for this irrational decision.
