leaving kilmacolm cross 1000 with studded tyres for a 20k mini shire tour. very slow speed to enjoy views and just get out in otherwise unrideable conditions. coffee stop guaranteed either in Killy at end or we might even get to Langbank.

I tripped over a French road champs jersey in the hallway in the Campanile. Odd. Then I noticed Tommy Voeckler in the room next door and realised it was THE French road champs jersey.
George, we left cars in Oudenaarde the night before. Only one minor slip up when we waited an extra hour for Tom who liked the Koppenberg so much he cycled up it twice.

It certainly got tougher as the morning went on as there want a breath of wind when the signs were being put out this morning

It doesn't matter how long it takes to complete the 7 mile TT, everyone is different. Really fast riders would complete it in 16 mins, the first time I ever tried this it took me 27 mins. The hilly TT is not uphill all the way, it flattens out, prob about 40mins to complete. For both events riders set off at 1 min intervals.

Hi Graham, seeing as the start is only 20m from my house I will join with Sarah B at 9. She wants training miles so we can leave her on the front all day.
Top tip: co-op is only 10 secs away and their bananas are about 30p each so that is the food sorted.
