2023 Subscriptions iain couttie Posted October 30, 2018 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted October 30, 2018 How about a trip up the far side of Lochlomond. Its a decent cycle to the car park at the foot of Ben Lomond. I fancy doing it at some point this winter as it was the first ride I did with Alex.He was quite good even as a new boy. thejanullrichdietplan

2023 Subscriptions Codg1e Posted October 30, 2018 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted October 30, 2018 I'm in. Rowardennan route sounds interesting so I just plotted it (roughly) on Strava, works out 80 miles, lots of nice wee short sharp hills, although forecast is for a southerly wind so we'll have a headwind to deal with on the way back: https://www.strava.com/routes/16042217 But happy with Glen Fruin if majority decide to do that
Members Iain67
sorry guys can't make it this weekend. Have done that route before and pretty decent although need to be careful from Balmaha to Rowerdenan as single track road and cars don't slow down. If this every week?

If this every week? It’s always been 09:30 in winter, Glen. As winter sets in those coming from further afield would have to ride to Johnstone in the dark if it was any earlier. I might be out but winter bike is waiting on wheels coming so would be on summer steed. GlenIrving
2023 Subscriptions iain couttie Posted October 31, 2018 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted October 31, 2018 balamaha has a decent coffee stop. We can do it anytime it was just a suggested rout for a winter ride, would be nice leaving it for a nice day to enjoy the scenery. chung, Iain67 and Codg1e
