Martin S
I would like to say thanks and well done for organising todays event to Kenny and Martin. Only 1 accident put a cloud over an anotherwise cracking day. I hope the injured rider is not hurt too badly and is up and about soon. I know all other club members that helped out feel the same as I do!! Thanks and well done again guys.
Jim Brogan
Well you guys certainly know how to put a days racing together. Clearly a lot of hard work put into planning and organising before and during this event which seemed to run like 'clockwork'. Happy marshalls everywhere, maps of the course , briefing notes, toilet facilities, motorcycle escorts, sponsorship, PA systems, photo finish, etc, etc. I don't think you missed anything guys. A great days racing for riders and spectators and a fantastic advert for the sport. Very impressive. Well done. Cheers Jim

2023 Subscriptions martin Posted August 21, 2011 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted August 21, 2011 Thanks guys but I'm blushing. Kenny is the man who has spent a large part of the last few weeks and months to make things possible. I was just a gofer. Well done Kenny - credit to the club - as were all those who turned out to marshal, sign on, put up / take down banners, go to Greggs and generally support the event. Cheers guys. Renfrewshire Council, police, riders, parents: everyone seemed to enjoy their day. Think we could be asked back next year - for the best bike race in Scotland. Racing looked tough too - well done to all those who had a go. Cheers M

Paul C
I concur. Thanks to Kenny and sidekick Martin. Great to see so many youngsters racing (especially the Jets)! Good for the future of cycling. Hope it comes to Paisley again. Paul C

2023 Subscriptions ginty001 Posted August 21, 2011 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted August 21, 2011 I'll second all comments, fantastic day of racing, great to see all the kids races so well supported, how they must have loved the motorcycles leading them round I know I would have, if i'd been close enough to the front of the race to actually see them, doesn't quite feel the same when you only see them when there coming from behind you Huge congrats to Kenny and Mul for putting it all together, and a big thanks to all who helped out including all those from loads of other clubs as well the Joansin helpers and their families..... I wonder how long it took Kenny to sink into his sofa with a large glass of red in his hand when he got home Ian

Members Richard
That was brilliant. The whole event had a really professional feel to it. The course was ideal from a spectator's point of view - loads of chances to see the riders go by. Well done to Kenny and all his helpers. Trumped last years ten times over! Hoping for much the same next year! Thanks Kenny and Martin a complete credit to the club. We would all be lost without your outstanding event handling skills! Mark O
Couldn't agree more with the various comments already posted. Jim Brogan's post pretty much says it all. Well done Kenny and Mul, and everyone else who pitched in, you can be justifiably pleased with yourselves. Such a good day's entertainment. Based on the success of yesterday, and it was an unqualified success, it really should become a fixture in the calendar for Paisley. Undoubtedly an event that could grow and grow. I will be passing the disc/s to Kenny later this week so that he may upload to the site. Just be patient Colin
