Great hard tail to get someone on the trails. Recieved good reviews at its time of release. Attached is photos. Questions welcome. PM or message me via the WhatsApp group. £400 ono.

Now now, my right honourable friend....its the only way I can justify the craft beers! Sarah agrees...

It makes sense, as they claim they aren't a profitable company. I'm sure we would all easily spend £4 on your vice of choice...a beer...easily...chocolate bar ...easily...strava?... I think the sore point some good bits now cost some money. I went premium shortly after lockdown.
  4. Thanks Karen, very helpful.
  5. Eventually, I am on Zwift. However, I'm as technically minded as a shoelace. I completed the FTP shorter test, however managed to put out 400W for close to a minute. I'm no expert, but I'm fairly sure I've not got enough resistance on. Does anyone else ride a mag turbo and how have you set your resistance on the turbo? Or, does anyone have any recommendations where I should set my resistance to?
  6. Also walked it, however I believe in what would be considered reverse, Inv - FW. Good tracks all the way, probably could cycle the majority, however one or two walk only very steep bits.
  7. Evening all. Any interest for a cycle? I unfortunately cannot attend due to work. The calender suggests Aberfoyle, looking at the weather something closer to home looks more appropriate. Any takers?
  8. Planning, again, to be out. Don Smith our coast route. Easy either way. Greg.
  9. Expected eta for Soup? If still required and for how many?
  10. Yeah Alan sounds good. I'm tight for time Sun. I can Fit this in.
  11. Cant ride this week, but I will provide and heat Soup....if there's riders out. Greg.
  12. Not for me sadly. Busy this weekend. Greg.
  13. Top marks couttie, even after going swimming, carrying on, then breaking a chain. Chapeau!!
  14. Folks cancellation may occur for this ride based on poor weather. Ill still head down to clubrooms for 9 and see what's happening. However, rule 5 does apply. Regards!!
  15. I'm in, I can open up early doors, then depart with 0930 bunch, passing keys over to any 0945 men if required. Greg.
  16. Yeah weather looks garbage. Will assess in the morning.
  17. Afternoon All Kilcreggan Kanter this week. 0930 clubrooms - Houston - Georgetown - Erskine Bridge (1000H) - A82 to Bonhill - Glen Fruin Road - Coulport - Kilcreggan (Cafe) - Rhu - Helensburgh - Bridge. 78 miles. The route. https://strava.app.link/trFIK3Uos3 See y'all out there!

  19. Evening Folks, As many have probably seen, and many have probably heard my grumblings, the club is keen to get more bodies on the road!! To this end, I have designed a calender with all the Sundays until August on it. PURPOSE: To allow riders to plan the rides they can attend, have a user friendly clear view of rides and routes coming up and encourage members to ride together. A few things to note please. 1. The ride captain/ Road captian is not a hard and fast dictator style post, rather an experienced member who can keep tabs on the pace and any person who is falling out the back. It also provides a single point of contact for any new joiners/ inexperienced bunch riders. 2. I will not dictate to YOU, the bunch riders, where we go. If you want a route, tell me or if possible update the sheet. 3. The first Sunday, shall be utilised as a Big ride. Possibly an earlier start, something for a whole day. This can be moved with the general agreement of most members. This idea should allow a certain level of planning, allowing more riders out and about. For me certainly, I know what shift I am on until the end of time. Sooo, this means I can see the days off I want, begin the bargaining with the wife, and sort out child care. I have set out a variety of rides. These can be adjusted. I will post on a Tues / weds on the forum, as well as put out a WhatsApp notification. This is a trial idea and may continue with support from bunch members. ANY ideas for development, criticisms or praise are welcome. However, if you wholly disagree, please be polite and civil and message me directly. I will be happy to speak with anyone. Gang Forward!! JWCC Club Run Calender .xlsx pdf JWCC Club Run Calender .pdf
  20. Thanks Gents. Both noted, happy to try elsewhere. Variety is the spice of life! Eh? Although, I always thought the coffee was good. No plans for Largs till 29 March anyway.
  21. Another cracking main bunch ride. 7 bodies at 0940 departed the clubrooms. 3 more picked up on the journey. A well disciplined pace and riding by all. The usual stop at the BB, followed by that tail (ish) wind up the coast. 61 miles. Look out for a post regarding a ride calender coming soon! Cheers folks!
  22. Clubhouse half 10, over the haylie, slightly shortened route....?
