Cheers for the tow today guys. Legs feeling okay, but the constant bending is a right pain. Had a good run up the coast with Dez after bailing at Kilcreggan. Lovely day for it and hope to be back to normal in a couple of more weeks.

Found that to be a tough old day with my first assault on C11. Spectacular views across Loch Fyne, on the descent to Otter Ferry and the Barn in Portavadie was top notch. Was pretty well done in after the climb so wasn't able to participate in the high speed return down the glen. Thanks for waiting for me at all the various points along the way.

A really good run. 97 miles - my longest ride for a long time. Last 15 miles a bit of a struggle.
Thanks guys for being patient with me on the climbs and special thanks to Chung for dropping back several times to give me his wheel and Ian C for the tow along the Georgetown Road.

just back from a week in Majorca and I know there has been some talk from the Leige bunch that consensus was for some sunshine next year. Met a really friendly bike shop owner who would be happy to rent bikes and act as a tour guide. Tony from tramantula bike in Santa Ponsa was good enough to invite me out on his club run and the local knowledge was invaluable. €20 per day for a vitus dark plasma and sure Tony would do us a deal. Santa ponsa close to Palma airport and close to tramantula mountain range, so pretty central.
 
Just throwing it out there as plenty of goods hotels and flights from glasgow, the scenery is not too bad either

Lots come from Kilmacolm/BoW and a few of us cycle.
 
We have a  group leaving Pullman down track at 0730, arrive 0830 but departure times TBC daily. You are welcome to join at BoW/Brookfield/Linwood etc. This would also be good for people at Royal Alexandra Hospital (or anywhere en route actually).
 
25k. Vast majority traffic free, 2.5 k of minor roads with clever main road crossings. Pretty much NCR75/7

Well just me and Colin tonight, think he had a mechanical before swing bridge unfortunately. Thought I was going to die after LBL drinkathon but managed to get a sub 7min PR up the Clune and 2nd to big greg on the sprint finish (closest iv been yet) miby Belgian beer is the answer 😉

Myself Billy Robbie Emma and Judas set off from Bus stop on georgetown rd. We were joined by Alan McLean for a brief period and by Ian Mcginty at bishop ton . My legs were heavy and still recovering from our massive bevvy session after Liege ride but it was a very pleasant night. Hope to see the usual suspects next week

Hi Paul bought a copy and yes it is me flying the flag for the wheelers on foreign soil. Great day out and perhaps one to think about as a future club event

Never done it in the winter Billy but what about Dumbarton, Helensburgh, round coast road to Kilgreggan and back again? Dumbarton- Helensburgh road can be a bit busy but no worse than Coast road to Largs.
