This is not just for those who are regulars at the velodrome - You do not need to be accreditated for this session so this is an ideal chance to try it out. Coach Billy Mac will be taking the session, he is one of very few Level 3 track coaches in Scotland so if you are new to all this you are in good hands and he will get you through the basics and get you up riding confidently and safely. Here is the video from earlier in the year. Next time i'll try and get some footage of the other group too. Track hire is £266 and last time we had about 20 riders there, which i think is a good number to aim for again. If we get 20 riders then it will be £13.30 per person for the track. Obviously the price will be a bit more should the numbers be lower ( if there are only 15 then it will be £17.33 and so on). To make things a little easier and also spread the cost i'm going to collect money for the track hire first, then towards the end of January will sort the bike and shoe hire out for those that need it. If you need to hire a track bike it will be an additional £11.40 and if you need shoes another £4.90. If you have shoes with Look Keo cleats then you can use them. For anyone that is interested can you post in this thread and i'll edit/update this initial post with the numbers and cost, then i'll contact everyone that has signed up early in the new year with details of how to pay.
