The traditional end of season drum up is this weekend hosted by Geoff Smith, Sunday the 11th, And all jwcc rider's have been invited to come along and sample the atmosphere. The plan is get the 10 o'clock ferry at Gourock, ride to Ardentinny, over the climb to the drum up at loch eck, then soup and munchies over the fire and home via the ferry. I thoroughly enjoyed last year's event with chung and Mcginty and will be looking to attend again, if anyone is interested post up and we could meet at the club rooms and cycle down to the ferry as a group, its winter pace and has the option to avoid the climb if you don't fancy it. Cheers Alan

Fingers cross for dry weather at least!

Alan, have you got you square sausages? :-)

Cheers

I am looking for a run on Sunday, if you guys would welcome me.  Is this some sort of barbeque, sausages on sticks over a fire type thing?

Gerard,

Have a wee read at this:

If you're keen, then 10am ferry at the Gourock Ferry (the small black ferry) for a crossing to Dunoon.

Hope to see you there!

Cheers

Isn't it a wee RED ferry Chung? I've got a family thing on, so planning to join for the ride down to the ferry, then I'll carry on round the Cloch and home via Greenock Cut and Loch Thom... 8.10 at the Smiddy is probs going to get you to the Ferry for about 9.30 at the very latest i would say,so unless you take an earlier ferry, you'd have a fair bit of hanging about to do....

Cheers Iain, been a while since I was on that ferry :-)

8.10am is a bit early, allowing for any mechanicals/mishaps & riding leisurely would see us making it just about fine :-)

Looking like a great turn-out by the Wheelers :-)

Cheers

Chung
