The Rothesay Weekend on the 19th and 20th of September is now open for entries - the APR is filling up quite fast with about half the entries gone so far.

Something for everyone from cyclocross, 2up TT, normal TT, hill climb, novice road race, APR road race and a womens road race.

If you fancy dipping your toes into racing then this is a great introduction, nice relaxed atmosphere and the novice race is a good starting point at 20 miles. If you are in the main bunch but havent raced before then give the APR a go - it's twice the distance at 40 miles but its set off in APR format so you will get a head start on the faster riders. Last year the first group away were not caught before the finish.

SATURDAY:

Youth Hillclimb (1/4 mile): 10.30am start. All ages < 16 years. Entry £2

Senior Hillclimb (1/3 mile): 11.00am start. Minimum age 14 years. Entry £3

(Note: only one hillclimb may be entered, Youth or Senior, not both)

2-Up Time Trial (20 miles): 1.15pm start. Minimum age 12 years. Entry £16 per team

amgIrvine Cycles Bute Cross: 5.30 start. Entry £15
