2023 Subscriptions Ramsay Posted August 24, 2010 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted August 24, 2010 All, We are still looking for marshalls for the Sam Dooley 25Mile TT, taking place this Sunday (29th August) on the West Ferry course, with the race HQ at Bishopton Community Centre. We need a minimum of 12 marshalls to run this event and while I appreciate that it comes only a week after the crit race, I think it is the last open event the club will be running this year. Marshalls are required to point the rider in right direction at r/bouts etc, they do not have the right to stop traffic. Marshalls hi-viz vests will be provided. If you are not comfortable with being out on the course, there are two other jobs (siging on and holding/pushing off) that also need to be done. Any rider from the club that has entered, can you please ensure that you have someone attend to marshall in your place. Your services will be required from 08:15 until about 11:30/12:00, which still leaves plenty of time for a good spin on the bike after. So far I know that Ian McGinty, Chris Balden (Greg's dad) and myself are helping, so we do need a good few more. We do still need a few more though. Can all marshalls please be at the Bishopton Community Centre for no later than 08:30 on Sunday morning, for a quick briefing etc. FYI - Kenny has asked that I round up the troops and position everyone on the day, as he is still trying to sort out last weeks race and has more than enough to do for this weeks.
