That was the last sewing b of 2014. Will now be lost on a Tuesday evening without this. Tough route Mr O. Well tough for me as I spent the time sucking wheels when I could finally get close enough and ta to the skinnies for waiting for the wee fat man on the climbs
Think the club is now big enough that we should offer this as an option next Spring. Me and Mr O will defo b out and other company most welcome.

Should have mentioned that we met mr and mrs Muirhead on the road. Great to see you both and hope this is the first of many outings for you Ramsay. You certainly managed the Bowfield climb at a canter.

Well done for posting this run. Mark arrived at club rooms with Peter who he met on way in and convinced would be good idea to join the mighty joansin. Myself James and darryl made up the complement of 5 and we had a glorious run to largs.usual fine fare at bagel basket. We opted for the outdoor seats so we could soak up the Clyde sunshine. Thereafter a brisk ascent and descent of haylie/kilbirnie road and then cycle path home.
Thanks guys for the excellent company

Cracking day and one of best main bunch runs this summer. Views were stunning and we found a smashing wee cafe in kippen that was full of cyclists. We evm let m Balden take a couple of the sprints.
Hope this weather keeps up for another month

Thought the auld yins would be a good race to resurrect my racing ambitions. Unfortunately still off the pace and ended up in time trial format with 3 others. Having pulled them round on the second lap the girl had the cheek to pass me on the uphill sprint. Fortunately we finished before the vets race and it was nice to witness a very good finish by Paul who was in the mix right to end. As for Gumley he clearly did a Froome and ignored my orders to help the aged. He was also in the mix which one day I hope to experience and before u start Billy Mac no plans yet for audax

I do my domestique duties for 70 miles and not one word of thanks for letting you suck my wheel and giving you my last gel just before you were about to bonk . If Iain's go pro worked should show me pulling u round . Had it not been for my enforced stop u would have experienced another battle of stewarton
Billy thanks to tom's legendary navigational skills we managed to do the ton as what was an 8 mile trip to start turned into an 18 miler and tom had no less than 2 sat navs in operation one of which took us back to the house we had just left and I will leave it to tom to explain how it took us 2 hours to get out of London today
Despite not getting to do full course was great fun and certainly one to put on your must do list.

Well the jwcc team safely negotiated the Pru sportive. Weather a bit inclement so leith and box hill taken out hence the 86
We went round at a brisk pace. I carried Yuille round for 70 miles then I had a puncture. Piity as in a good bunch at the time but once mended had a very wet last 16 miles.
Quite cool cycling thru London and finishing on the Mall

Could not have put it better. I have posted 1 strava section for main bunch run and one for amazing ride home via rr route. The applause from the Glasgow crowd was brilliant. Pretty cool cycling from west end to Glasgow green on a road laid out for the mighty jwcc
