2023 Subscriptions GrahamF Posted April 8, 2016 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted April 8, 2016 After a great turnout last year, here's this year's early season Whole Club Run. Having checked Sheila's facebook page, it looks as good as last year! Lots of options of how to get there to suit all ambitions and training programmes, including (with distances from the ferry):1. Straight from the ferry - 8 miles return and flat! But could go up to Strachur first bringing the distance up to 28 miles, 500 ft.2. A western route via Loch Tarzan and the A886 (Glendaruel) - 40 miles, 2,000 ft.3. Loch Tarzan and C11 – 46 miles, 2,600 ft.4. Over The Rest via Glen Fruin, 62 miles, 2,600 ft from Erskine Bridge. (could add a Hell's Glen option for some extra feet)Start times may vary depending on routes chosen, but there are outbound ferrys at 08:30, 09:00, 09:30, 10:00, 10:30, 10:50 Suggest aiming to meet at the Diner around 12:30 to 13:00 Morna and KennyS

2023 Subscriptions BoydJohnston Posted April 10, 2016 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted April 10, 2016 Great idea. Unfortunately we'll be returning the grandaughter to captivity her parents on Sunday, so the best I can do will be a short, local run. Hope you get good weather. 2023 Subscriptions GrahamF Posted April 12, 2016 Author 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted April 12, 2016 I plan to do route 2, Loch Tarzan and Glendaruel, at intermediate pace. Getting the 09:00 ferry, I'll be cycling to the ferry from Kilmacolm leaving the Pulman at 08:00. Company welcome from either Kilmacolm or meet at the ferry. 2023 Subscriptions GrahamF Posted April 12, 2016 Author 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted April 12, 2016 Graham, we have not been out together for a while so could I meet you at the bottom of Clune Brae and if so at what time? Gerard, it should be about 15 mins from the Pullman, so that makes it 08:15 (perhaps 08:20) at Ferguson's roundabout. I suggest meeting in the bus stop about 200 yds the Greenock side of the roundabout as we can get off the road there.
