Life Members chung Posted February 16, 2016 Life Members Report Share Posted February 16, 2016 Hi All, Given that it seems like everyone's ( ........Richard, Iain Ginty, Iain67, Big Al Y just to name a few) got a new bike for this year, I thought I would join the party :-) Here's mine, still work in progress though: http://weightweenies.starbike.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=137694&p=1205988#p1205988 Enjoy! 2023 Subscriptions XXX Posted February 16, 2016 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted February 16, 2016 Did you go for Colnago bars stem seat post , was going to get a Parle but Velocity 44 not treating me as I would expect to be so back to C60 DA or Nevi Titanium chung
Life Members chung Posted February 16, 2016 Author Life Members Report Share Posted February 16, 2016 Billy, Zipp bars & stem (negative 17 degree to match the Traditional geometry top tube :-)) Decided against more "Colnago" logos, its enough as it is. Who is "Velocity44"???? If you want a C60, you better order it quick to get it in time for summer, I waited THIRTEEN WEEKS for mine C60 + DA = 4 grand plus, high mid-range Parlee price bracket for sure. I saw a Parlee at Kilmalcolm a few months ago parked outside the cafe, it looks bloody beautiful! You should get one Billy!

2023 Subscriptions Gerard Deeley Posted February 16, 2016 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted February 16, 2016 Are you adhering to n+1? If not then this lovely looking steed is a replacement bike and this gives you permission to get another new bike, unless you invoke the s-1 rule. Looking forward to admiring the shineyness soon. chung

Yeah...but they're pros and the teams have contracts/who'll offer them what etc so they'll ride what's given to them. 2023 Subscriptions George Posted February 16, 2016 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted February 16, 2016 Note: the lack of wheels may hold you back a bit. Other than that the only fault is its too wee. Every bike should have a 55.5cm top tube & a 12cm stem. Nothing else works.

Thanks Alex, unlikely for Flanders as it'll probably still be in building process. Taking my Ti bike instead with some 25mm tubbies to soften the cobbles :-) How about you? Your carbon Scott?
