Will stick to the road :-) Came on at lochwinnoch last Saturday and managed as far as Howwood in 39 x 23 doing about 5mph. Few scary pant moments and don't yet know how I managed to stay upright? As we got to Johnstone the lights were red so it meant we could finally catch the last couple of Jets (Danny and i think Hamish) that we'd spent the last few miles on the rivet trying to chase down, they'd have stayed away if it had been green. With billys turbo and spin on Thursday that's 280miles since Tuesday and I felt everyone of the miles today. Grind being an operative word with the amount of grit on the road grinding drive trains! Good to see lots of wheelers young and old all along the course. For different reasons, time off bike, big miles week, bogs bunch yesterday etc, the 3 in our group pretty well ended themselves today.
