    Hi
I need help cleaning up our membership records. Most of the recent ex-members will receive a group email but I am posting here because I know  some contact details are outdated.
    1. If you have renewed membership and paid subs, great! Thank you!
    2. If you have not renewed but would like to do so (before your forum access is cut off) then go here https://www.britishcycling.org.uk/club/subscriptions?club_id=589. PM me if any problems and we can arrange BACS/cheque/cash etc
    3. If you have previously been a member and are still interested in the club and general riding/social but can't rejoin this year due to geography/work/circumstances then please PM/email me and I'll keep you on our books as a possible future member.
    4. If you can't see yourself returning at all to the Wheelers then please PM/email me and I'll remove you completely from our records.
    Thanks very much

What a weekend with the Joansin family. Could not have asked for better company, weather, digs, food or cycling.
Looking forward to reliving it all when Chung gives us his full account of the weekend and others sharing their pics and stories.  Thanks to all for making it such a memorable event. Same time next year, I hope.
PS yes I'm biaised, but Jets were the best drilled bunch in Flanders.

yeah I would do it again but maybe not the Marmotte. Would like to do 2-3 big climbs a day, with maybe 4-5 days based where we were. 2020 could be a shout

Jesus an eventful ride guys. Hope all okay Billy, must be that bloody trek....
Did not want to hold you back todays guys as I don't have any cycling legs at moment. Ended up doing a wee solo run round Langbank and Kilmalcolm and was brutal into that wind. Good effort guys and hopefully get my cycling legs before Flanders.

As Alan says - Bowfield, Lugton, Dunlop, Stewarton. Then onto Kilmaurs, Knockintiber,  Crosshouse, Gatehouse, Dundonald, Barassie Troon (cafe of choice). Return via Loans and the reverse of the outward route to Kilmaurs then a sortie out towards Fenwick (I'll bale out here) and then onto Stewarton, Dunlop, Luggie and Bowfield. A variant would be to head for Stewarton then take a right at the cross, up Glasgow Road/Dubbs Road and follow the sewing bee route back.
I'm guessing 65 miles. Turns will no doubt be shouted out as we get to them.

It's a shame this is so early in the season often with the likelihood of poor weather.
Could it be held later on in the year? I think the turnout on a summer evening would be decent - could replace the Thursday chaingang for a week then it wouldnt clash with an existing confined TT. Plus its a roadie course so the chainy regulars could give it a go as well.

I believe crampons are being given away free by some hospitals and local councils to their employees. Maybe the Uni can sort you out. If it comes to it you can buy them in Boots. Other chemists are available.
