good course today,as usual climb up the crow was hard. We had about a mile on the flat then up the climb with the long steady climb
was strugalling to keep heart rate down,got coght by ben at the top. was using my new tt water bottle so has a wee drink at the top, put it back hit a bump and lost it, big decision £10 for new one or ten seconds to stop, kept going.The decent was terifing on a tt bike, i hit 40mph on the way down, not that i was looking at the time! The flat was a good run with a gentle tail wind at points cruising at 30 od mph.The course was only 24.5 miles so got a bit misjudged and could have put more out for the last few miles.I ended on 1hr 10.45 which was good enough for 14th! I am pleased as #### considering the caliber of the other riders.

found this hard today, been a busy week at work so thats my excuse.stopped at the old parafin lamp for coffee, then home,walked in the door like a zombie got fed toast and egg, washed fell asleep for two hours.will have to work a bit more through the week, when billy beat me up the last hill it was time to drift gracefully off the back and enjoy my own company.

well what can i say,this makes tt look easy, only light note is my max speed was 72mph was so knakerd that i forgot to switch off my garmin!

my second 25 so not a lot to compare with, had a nice chat with Al on the way round, sometimes i think al thinks these are like club runs where you can pass the time of day wjth fellow riders.

well if carlsberg did cycle runs! what a briliant day, was not the fastest or the youngest,but a bottle of cider and wine and my legs are no longer talking to my head.better than last week when i had to head home.

thanks to all organisers, ramsey you are a s### chef,i thought you would have been better with half a chefs name,however weather put the burgers out and everyone was happy.Did i here greg say that the club dance was to be held there this year.

Another fun day at Millport it started with a nice run down to Largs with Paul and Davie B these guys were riding there second race of the weekend
As usual it was very windy and a small field left the start line into a head wind I hung about st the back first climb pace ok fas down and fast for a bit along the coast second climb sat near the front doing a fair bit of work on the decent got a wee break but it only lasted a few mins 3 time up was of the back a bit this went up to last climb two made a move didn't think they would stay away so wasn't botherd came back along the coast we were closing the gap but soon enough not all was working caught one of them then decided to go for first loser so sat in then sprinted before we could see the markers finished second with Al third
Then rule 5 and cycled home 91 miles of fun

well what a windy day, it stayed dry. this was my first tt outwith the club. i managed 13th overall and 2nd in my section. i won money, a first! I had a good run but as usual i made it to the start just in time, was pushed of not clipped in, blasted it first few yards to make up time , untill i realised my HR was 190.slowed up and made it round, nearly threw up at the finish.Looking forward to next one.

Iain, would be interested but will be riding the Passporte du Soleil in Morzine that weekend then spending the next 2 weeks heading cross country to Chamonix to do the tour de Mont Blanc and from there over to Zermatt. Big plans anyway !

i am trying to get a team of three for this, i am working on ross so perhaps one other,with three its a good day out.usualy 3 or 4 runs of 1 hour.info on no fuss events web site

had a good run today, two highlights,1 paul asking an old dear if she still did a bit of cycling, only to be told yes i have just cycled across america,pefect put down, second was at the end of the gergetown,my legs were dead and spotted a horse stuck in the bushes, it had bolted with the girl and slipped on the road and shot into the bushes side on.i was there for about half an hour, just time to get my legs going again.
