We should have taken some pics. A great night. The Clyde was looking epic and so was I! Got home, PB recorded, thinking this is the fittest I've ever been. Best open a bottle to celebrate.
Meantime Stuart with a 23 02, getting dropped on a Thursday chain gang is embarrassing. Us TT'ers have a reputation to keep. I do think he might be roasting us all very soon.

700km in 37 hours with 13000+ metres of climbing in Corsica and 7th place overall.
Seriously impressive result - particularly for a sprinter! Well done

Planning to be there though 6pm is a strain especially if you’re trying to get out of Glasgow at that time of day. Traffic onto M8 is really heavy all the way through Hillington. Renfrew Bunch has now moved to 7 so there’s no reason our times are restricted due to failing light.

Shimano anti seize is great for bolts, seatpost etc but for bearings and hubs etc i would recommend the Shimano stuff Chung suggested, it is green coloured stuff, very slick. Avoid lithium grease

stuart10ant got a reaction from Richard in Jacket found in dunoon
Hi Jets
I was getting ferry tickets in Dunoon and the lady handed me over a XS jets long sleeve winter jacket, said it was left there a while back.
I brought back home with me, does anybody belong to it?

My Garmin registered 1c between BoW & Kilmacolm. No wonder we couldn't feel our hands and arms
Then, it registered 29c at Gourock as we got off the ferry, though this is probably because it was sheltered on the ferry with the sun shining directly on it. It soon changed down to 25/24c but it was pleasant enough. Shame about the wind it was horrible on the way back.
All in all a great day out. I couldn't muster an extra 6/7 miles to make up the century - Stuart did tho! Kudos!

Cracking day out.
Set off from the club house at 7, dressed for the Sahara, more like siberia.
We set off and with our arms numbed by the cold met Paul in lochwinnoch, a pleasant ride to Inverkip where paul split off and it was off to Rothesay for Colin and I.
The sun was doing its thinng by then and we had a cracking run until Colintraive where we turned into the wind. A battle to Dunoon then a roll stop in Gourock. Up the Clune and onto Amaretto where we met Alan T for a recovery pint.
Great day out, sunburnt and sore.

Excellent stuff, good to join you as far as Spango Valley. At one extreme we had you guys with bare arms, legs and track mitts. At the other extreme we had me in full winter gloves, tights and windproof jacket ( in my defence I took daughter to airport at 5.45 and registered 3c at Lochwinnoch roundabout ! ). It was all good for me until about Largs when I turned into a microwave boil in the bag meal !
Great picture story Stuart
