Did it once, got a puncture, 100% fail rate.

Myself alan t Martin Mulholland & Young Ruairi departed from Amaretto. Unfortunately Ruari had a mechanical as we started climbing up to Loch Thom so he & Martin had to bail out. I could tell that Martin was very disappointed at missing out on the climb. Alan & myself had a pit stop at Bagel Basket then sauntered up Healy brae and home. Another cracking day on bike

Fantastic event well run, with some fantastic times and some quality finish line flag waving on the short climb.  I am wondering if I need to start carrying ID now I am a Jet.

I have been in contact with PSL in Hillington about supplying new hoodies.
I have arranged to get a small, medium and large sample for sizing and will arrange to have a sizing night at the clubhouse once i know when they will be available.
The hoody design will be the first image below (yellow inside the hood) with embroidered club logo and print on the back as shown on the second mock up. We will also do embroidered initials.
Prices are still to be finalised but looking at around £25.

Cracking day at Rothesay APR. Only 3 of us in first group which wasn’t great. After about 4 miles we were 2. Was going well with youngfella from Ayr was averaging 165 bpm There were 2 sprint primes at 16 miles and 24 and we took one each. Got caught at 30 mile marker and game over. Limped back to finish. Still got cash for being first ( and only) over 60 to finish and cash for sprint prime 
paul Ritchie and colin were in group who caught us and they were all looking strong and finished well

Afraid not Gerard. Been on the takeaways and bevvy since moving into new home, just feels right 😁
Its the year for a fattie to take the title...

The hill climbs are clearly not attractive to many.  We should carefully consider any alternative arrangements that would encourage wider participation.  I do like the confined events and I try to get to as many as I can.  We could make changes to try out different options and see what works.
 
Meanwhile Robbie will be living on a diet of air and nothingness to be ready to take the title agin this year.

Just me so far!  I will check again at 1700h for at least another two riders to make it worthwhile.

There does not seem to be the appetite for this tonight.  Try again next week.

Warranty replacement frame n fork 

I was sitting here with a cuppa just before I read that, reminiscing about the coffee and walnut cake!

Very well put together and a perfect day for it.  Whoever made the coffee & walnut cake is a legend because it was really really good!!

Definitely an ongoing commitment.

Excellent event Gerard. Food was especially good. Thinking I might take that Jayne home with me next year.
