Big thanks to all that made today possible , really enjoyed it and was happy to be going well after being out for a couple of weeks. Best bit of the day however has to be Pulling into the car park totally burst to hear Ian and Ians comedy sketch and early nomination for the hammock award about one turning up without a helmet, having to turn the car around, rectify the problem, only to discover the other minus a helmet. Brilliant, keep it up boys

Doesn't look good. I have to say I've ordered countless items and returned several and never once had an issue.
I don't know what time has elapsed, but I've used the local drop off for returns and been provided a receipt for this. Once in the hands of this third party with a receipt I would have thought responsibility transfers from you to them.
Scary dig about CRC at the end though...
We now have some good deals with QBikes and Dooley's which I took advantage of last week and the service there was exceptional!

I don't have to fantasise as I am the bestest cyclist ever.
I've let myself go a bit lately as there are no more foes worthy of conquering.

Specialized had an advert along those lines a couple of years ago with a kid imagining he was Tom Boonen
Paris-Roubaix would be good or Milan San Remo attacking on the Poggio, descending like Sean Kelly then holding off the remnants of the peloton as they try and catch for the sprint

Iain67 reacted to thejanullrichdietplan in Tour of Britain 2016 route
Route was announced yesterday http://www.tourofbritain.co.uk/news/14384.php#.VtA_FeZly4k
Looks like the first stage will be taking in a couple of roads that feature in local races (it's hard to tell from the map but it either goes down the A77 or over the dams climb / reverse of the Sewing Bee drag) . There goes the strava leaderboards!

Good to get out and weather turned out not as bad as the forecast for a change. Good company in compact bunch.
Thanks Ian for the soup at the club house

Enjoyable ride today. Although i feel i jinxed my front mech by mentioning that i had considered going 1X on winter bike then getting stuck in the small ring!

Thanks for the wheel to follow today guys, spiffy run. Just what needed after a few weeks absent from a proper bike ride.
Sorry couldn't accompany the rest back to base for some hot delicious soup, left the bunch and stayed on the North side to head home solo. The rain started to fall heavier on that side it seems & the ubiquitous head wind up the A77 was not fun at all
105 klicks by the time I got home, sore/wet but well chuffed, it took me another 2 hours just to wash everything - myself + bike + gear :-)
Thanks again Charlie for posting & the rest of the Rule #9 bearers :-)
Cheers
Chung

Cracking day on bike today
Myself Ian Mcginty & James left club rooms at 9.30 am. We picked up Chung & Ian McTavish on Georgetown Road & Ian Carvill in Helensburgh.
Cracking ride and was a lovely morning for cycling
There were 3 guys in club rooms. Think they had an allergy to light rain

very nice Al, clun runs with look resplendent this year with all the new bikes on show. Just purchased the new Trek Madone 9.2, Ultergra Di2, can't wait for the better weather.
