Stevie and Mr provision ( not sure of your name, sorry!) caught me, so i suggested a finlaystone short cut so we could all enjoy another kicking. Peeled off at houston and that was me!!

Not fit enough for it, away to newcastle the weekend before for 3 days of madness and now don't have a working bike. But if I get bike back and good crowd going I'll give it a go.

Spied two Wheelers (Grieg and Richie) in Valloire, between The Col du Telegraphe and Col du Galibier on Sunday.

After consulting with Greg, it'll be the usual run to Aberfoyle via Dumbarton and Drymen.
Up the Dukes to Callander then turn round and back over the Dukes to Aberfoyle.
 
Coffee/food either at Aberfoyle or Callander.
 
Decent hills and fairly quiet roads/track back from Aberfoyle:)

Good ride today, could get used to having 2 cafe stops very easily!

Is the JW turning soft!!!! Only Alan and i turned up.  Full circuit completed. Must be due full points and Alan getting a point for turning up   

Was a great day out apart from being attacked by midges at the cafe stop. The rest and be thankful and hells glen is always pretty spectacular on a day like today.
 
I hope those of you who avoided the Whistlefield option can live with the shame of taking the easy route to Dunoon.

Seems there is no definite Sunday run anymore - gets hijacked by those "in the know". And now Thursdays could go the same way. Anarchy and that feeling we are trying to herd cats.
 
I like Billy's interpretation. It's a short ride. If you get a puncture it's hardly as if you're on your own for hours and if numbers stay above 10 there will be a mechanical every second or third week.

Sorry stopping for punctures is wrong defeats the purpose of the run are we now going to stop if somebody drops a chain all points should be nullified and a blank space should be recorded in the records and official spread sheet

Changing the rules , rule 1 we don't stop for mechanicals , that is plural so the number shouldn't matter, we don't stop
