I'll be out, but that's far too many hills for me. So I'll join, drop in and drop out.... Then back in.

I met first Alex when our sons played football together about twelve years ago. We were neighbours in Kilmacolm before the family moved to Houston. At that time he was lived on a diet of business lunches and weighed about 17 stone.  He was always a very generous and nice guy. It was super to see him  develop on the bike. First time I knew he was serious was when his son told me that Alex had taken my Strava segment on West Glen Road! (It was a long time ago).  The actual bike riding is trivial but the friendships and shared experiences are very real and Alex will be a much missed part of the bunch.
This is a terrible loss and I hope to join to join club members at the funeral. Thanks to Glen for keeping us up to date.

Maybe they can replace it with big black ones so I can see them properly rather than those bright yellow ones which was a bugger to see ........

Everything Darryl said and more, a great trip! Hard, fun days on the bike and well looked after by each other, loads of full belly laughter(mainly at my quick wit & Jokes). Definitely have made some great memories which I'm sure I will remember after some sleep.

Posting on Strava works for me. That's how I heard about the club shop being open. More generally the weekend runs seem so bespoke that casual riders like me are put off. Early starts, funny meeting points, etc.  Renfrew Bunch might be boring but I know where they meet and at what time. Quite fancy a Sunday cycle this week too...
