With the lighter nights would anyone be interested in adding an extra bit at the end if the weather is good? Retrace route through to Bishopton take a left at the roundabout, head past the monkey house to Barochan road then finish at the 30 in Houston. An extra 7 miles (or about 4 if you were heading back along the Georgetown anyway)

For someone who has not done this run.. points????

It's the highest prestige event in all of cycling - the thursday night world championships!

Basically some idiot thought it would be a good idea to add a bit of friendly competition to the chaingang and there is league table updated each week. You get a point for attending, then the first 3 riders to the top of the Clune win some KOM points, then there is an intemediate sprint for the 30 sign in Houston then the finish on the Georgetown road  (there is a line spray painted on the road here). Although tonight with the extra loop there will also be points for another (different) 30 into Houston.

Cracking night, tough headwind along the Georgetown and going up the Clune too. Went far too early with my attack for the Houston 30 completly misjudged how far away it was!

Think this was the results, not sure who got 3rd on the climb, think it was Alan
