Since it's Easter I think it's time I rise again! Remember me? I used to be well fast.... Due to my three year sabbatical I have become way too short for my weight! The only training I have been doing is cycling from Houston to Kilmalcolm with the kids and getting a fry up! So here are my chain gang and weight goals for this season, Weeks 1-2 Get to the end of the Georgetown Weight - The same as a Billy and Geo lovechild. Weeks 2-4 Get to Bishopton Weight - Greg Balden with a pair of heavy boots on. Weeks 4-6 Get over the Cote du Bishy (I named it after my famous dropping on it during the Bogs) Weight - Charlie giving Gummers a piggy back Weeks 6-8 Hang on to the bottom of the Clune Weight - Gunson/Archibald wet through Weeks 8+ Give everyone a pumping!! Weight - My right leg weighing the same as P McDonald! See you tomorrow night if my kit fits!!!

Absolutely devastating news! Alex had a great sense of humour and was a pleasure to ride with. I remember in a cafe in Arran once, the waitress said that the gas was off so could not cook 12 sweaty cyclists a breakfast, when the table next to us who arrived 15 minutes after us got served two full frys I remember Alex heading into the kitchen to speak to the chef! 12 hot rolls soon appeared! He is going to be deeply missed, really sad news!

Hi Looking for some help. We have very recently be recognised as a Cycle friendly school by Cycling Scotland. It was a lot of hard work, we have organised bike breakfasts, we got a group of 4th years through their City and Guilds, organised staff cycles and bought a fleet of bikes to be used by classes. To further develop the programme I am now working 1 to 1 with some disengaged pupils where they bring in their bike and we do some small checks and how to change a tube etc. However some bikes are unrideable due to broken components etc. Was looking at the good people of JWCC to have a rummage around the back of their sheds, garages and lofts to see if they have any spare componenets going. Firstly looking at MTB/hybrid stuff and back derailleurs/chains seem to be the things that are going most! Thanks Ross

I know it is voluntary and takes a lot of time and it is hugely appreciated but I've been cycling about aimlessly since Monday morning trying to find this weeks segment!

It must be love!! Imagine having the same time as a fat lad that doesn't train! Embarrassing! I might come out on Thursday night so normal service is resumed by you giving me a doing!

Hey Santa got my wee one a 16 inch bike and it seems to be too big and heavy for just now. He tried a friends 12 inch pink princess bike with tassels and took off pedalling on his first go!!! Mrs Claus is not letting Santa by another bike so just wondering if anyone has a 12/14 inch kids bike lying about for a borrow for a few months until he fits into his 16 inch. thanks xxx
