Chung - you owe me 0.34 miles from the 70 you promised - but the 69 plus is a great workout ahead of next week's Tour of Sligo.

Thanks for the run, guys and waiting for me after most of the hills. After coffee and cake in Drymen, I headed back the way we came - home about 1:45 with about 60 miles under my belt. Took a while to warm up again after the stop due to everything being wet, but only had one more short shower to endure.
 
Easter egg hunting next Sunday, so see you in a couple of weeks.

Chung, I'll turn up again. How long I last is anybody's guess, but I'll give it a go.

I'm planning on doing a steady run on Sunday. If there are any newcomers looking to try a club run, or any of last year's 30-miler group looking to get back into a regular Sunday run, I'd definitely welcome the company.

Hope to be there to go out in a slow group starting at 09:00 or as soon after that as possible. If the fast guys can't take 45 minutes out of me, given my lack of training over the last 8 weeks, there is something far wrong.

Glad you had a good day. I did set out to cycle to Gourock, but had a small coming-together with a late-for-work driver less than a mile from home, so had to go back home to fix a broken mudguard. Ended up going out with the 30-Milers for a good steady run.

I'll probably be along for a run after the hill-climb, but I think I'll squeeze in a few miles beforehand rather than do the climb - getting too old and unfit to be inflicting the pain of a hill-climb on myself.

Good run today with just Kirsty and myself. Followed the bunch, at an ever-increasing distance, to Stewarton, then headed north towards Newton Mearns. Into Neilston, via Craigton Rd then up Fereneze Rd onto the Braes and down to Cochrane Castle. 41 miles for me and well done to Kirsty for taking on the climb up Ferenze Rd. 

I'm on duty for the Games again on Sunday, so somebody else will have to post a run.

Great run today with a group of nine - Chung, Richie, Allan, Peter, John, Paul, Len, Bill and myself - with over 75 miles for most of us, and a lot more for some. Only one mechanical - yours truly making a mess of fixing a p******. Enjoyable cake stop in Clachan of Campsie - well-earned rest after the Crow Road. Thanks for all the help and support guys.

True. Visiting a 90-year old aunt as an excuse for a 30-mile round trip to Knightswood.

Definitely interested in a new winter jacket. I like the idea of darker colour and with some brighter coloured bands. Any scope for hi-vis?

Apologies to all for not listening to Graham's sage advice about the weather - should have gone south and east and avoided the cold, wet weather down the coast.

Four of us - Peter, Bill, John and I - made our way to West Kilbride via Dunlop, Stewarton, Irvine and Kilwinning. Peter punctured a couple of times as we arrived in West Kilbride and had to take the train (hope you made it home safely, Peter) as his tyre had failed. We headed back through Dalry to pick up the track at Glengarnock. Good run in good company - 67 almost dry miles for me, but caught the rain for the last couple of miles..

I think I'll be doing this one - but not on the granny ring.

I expect to be at the clubrooms for 09:00. I'll see how the weather is shaping and see how I'm feeling. Maybe hanging on to the back of the bunch for a while is a good idea.
