A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who attended last night and made is an event to remember.

Personal thanks to everyone behind the scenes for all the support which helped it happen. Rita and Katie for agreeing to present the prizes, Ramsey and Paul for officiating, our sponsors and guests, Gleddoch House Hotel - particularly Wendy, Ian Simmet for the ceilidh, the team of  Helena, Jann, Karen, Mary, Seonaid, Allan C, Allan T, Martin and Graham F who helped pull all the ideas together, sourced photos and raffle prizes, ran errands, made calculations and sold and folded the raffle tickets.

The Jets who presented flowers and assisted with the Raffle deserve a special mention too!

Thanks also to all who cycled this season to compete for the prizes and well deserved congratulations to the prizewinners, new awards to aim for next season?

    Thanks again for my flowers.

I don't think any of the races crossed the ravine of doom - think it was in spate and salmon were running.

Turned out another cracking day and warm in the sunshine. Good fun all round.

Series takes a couple of weeks break before emerging in more northern climes - will probably do the Kinross leg of the series and the Winter Carnival thingy on the 29th November.

Was a good day once we got going-thought billy was going for his 5 punctures in one ride record but he decided to stop at two.

Tried to instruct Renny on the no half wheeling rule but was gasping so much that I was probably incoherent.

Good wee blast up Bishy hill-a Strava PB for me, which isn't bad considering its November.

The BB has gone downhill a bit since the new ownership though-the lady doing the orders is a bit stern.

Slightly different format tonight with a womens group added, i think that was the 2nd biggest group of the night so good to see it being successful from the start.

In the Bs first up was a 50 lap points went off with the front with a couple of others after 35 laps unfortunately they sat up after about half a lap and found myself off the front and ended up getting caught before the line on the sprint then just hanging on for the rest. Another good showing from Danny with him taking the win, makes it look easy. Next up a couple of 25 lap scratches. My legs felt pretty good, however same story as last week - mentally i wasnt at the races, too cautious and overthinking things. Although in saying that the last scratch race had some of the worst riding ive seen all year so there was plenty to be cautious about! Not sure how i'll gain more confidence other than more racing - if only the Pactimo club shop did Keirin gear

    Fun night.

First up was a 60 lap points, instead of being sensible i went for the first sprint but dug a bit too deep and after that was hanging on and suffering. Next was a 30 lap scratch, race just passed me by. Final 30 lap scratch, concentrated harder to maintain a good position and the pace felt quite comfortable (i dont know if this was because of positioning or because it was slower). Followed an attack with 12 laps to go, we got caught with 8 left. Managed to recover a bit and was in a good position as the sprint started with 2 to go bell went and into the corner about to make one final big effort for the night down the backstraight...then someone swung up and i had to swing up to avoid them and that was that.

Not much to add to that comprehensive report Richard. Chapeau to you and Andy on a good race. I was feeling great until the mechanical gremlins once again decided to plague me with their presence ! The dog fang HAS now been ordered as I don't think I could take another Andy Schleck moment. Still enjoyed the night though. Looking forward to Barmill

Thought the auld yins would be a good race to resurrect my racing ambitions. Unfortunately still off the pace and ended up in time trial format with 3 others. Having pulled them round on the second lap the girl had the cheek to pass me on the uphill sprint. Fortunately we finished before the vets race and it was nice to witness a very good finish by Paul who was in the mix right to end. As for Gumley he clearly did a Froome and ignored my orders to help the aged. He was also in the mix which one day I hope to experience and before u start Billy Mac no plans yet for audax

Put my wheel on the start line but hadn't realised it was Regional B when entering so realised it may be a tough day. Right from the off it was eyeballs out and was sprinting to keep up ! Managed to recover from the initial burst and was sprinting out of the roundabouts at either end of the course and trying to avoid the headwind on the South Bound section although the bunch was stringing out so it was very difficult. Then calamity struck on lap 3 when I switched to small chainring for the drag up and it unshipped leaving me the impossible task of catching a very attacking bunch which were after the break of 6 or 7 strong riders who had gone up the road. Was caught by another rider who had also been shelled out at this stage and worked for a few laps but then sense got the better of me and decided to save the legs for another day.

Apologies guys but did not want to hold you back. Nothing in the legs today and ended up pootling along to Rowerdinin at 17-18 mph. Bit better on way back with wind at back and did 65 miles as tried to ride through the tiredness. Just one of those days......

Great run worth the early start. Weather superb and even my little bit of gardening on the descent off the 2nd climb couldn't spoil my enjoyment !

Very well organised race on the A77 circuit last night, weather was wet and very windy. My short race report reads, first 10 miles up and down A77-fine, dams climb-fine, clunch road- fine, A77 - not fine. Turned on to a strong cross tailwind and there was a high speed wheel scrabbling line out. Well high for me anyway. Hung on for a couple of miles then popped. Rode round with a few others to finish about 30th and discovered only a few more actually finished.

There was a large entry of 80 riders for this race which I'd entered as I can't manage WOSCA race next week. All started well enough and was feeling comfortable at the end of the first long climb up to black loch. The pace was fairly high on the descent from the Loch into the tight wee left hander where the course became more rolling. This caused the bunch to string out and I was miles from the front at this point (not so good). However didn't panic and just got on with things Then came the short sharp climb on the back end of the circuit. Held on well here also until a crash in front of me saw a split in the bunch a few riders in front which I wasn't quick enough to notice. I chased back on however and managed to bridge across. So ended lap 1. As lap 2 began I realised on the next ascent up to Black Loch that I'd pretty much emptied my tank by loitering around too much at the tail end of things instead of battling for position more into the climbs. So as the ascent began I felt the elastic snapping and just had to soldier through the remaining laps catching many others who had been caught out behind the crash earlier. However felt I was getting stronger as the course continued. Well done to Lewis Mulholland on 3rd overall and I think 1st junior as well. A good course this one and very well run. Look forward to the reports of Wednesdays race which I won't manage. Good luck to all riding.
