Had a wee run in with a car on my commute home from work yesterday, spent most of last night in the hospital getting checked out, X-rays show no broken bones, so no lasting damage, just pretty sore, mainly my back, with a few other minor injuries, so won’t make it out this weekend ..

Ano Charlie, but my bed was so toasty and I had a wee bit of a hangover and the BBC weather forecast was all the encouragement I needed ... I obviously totally regretted it 2 hours later 

Ano murder, BBC still saying 40mph, might head out now for a bit to burn off ma full Scottish brekkie

Yip. Good to see a big bunch out. Bit grim going through Port Glesga but ended up nice.
Good to see prospective new member, William, out. Hope you enjoyed riding in a big bunch. You’ll get the hang of it soon, I’m sure.

Alan not original poster but it is a main bunch not a training run and bunch rules apply and I wouldn't wish a solo coast run on anybody. If push comes to shove you could always rejoin the coast at some point i.e off the whin. Up to you but faster and longer is a relative term and should not be co-opted to exclude people especially not people who have been part of main bunch previously and maybe coming back to a bit of fitness,  or actually ride a winter bike as opposed to full carbon with kid on mudguards.
Let the moaning commence.

too much moaning. I will be at club rooms for 9.30 am depart. Will probably arrive at Erskine bridge just before 10.00 and can pick up slackers. As long as u don’t have deep set rims u will be fine. 11 degrees is positively tropical

Good fun today, cafe stop was really cool, was a tough decision whether to order a bottle of wine and phone the missus to pick me up or get back on the bike for another soaking

Bah humbug punctures

Great run today lads, fresh to say the least didn’t get above 2degrees, another puncture for me and couttie. Great weather and some lovely roads...good to see so many wheelers out and about
