Cheers for the wheels guys..coldest hands and feet have been in a long time, struggling big time with bike cleaning duties. Great effort by Greg considering how little he's bn out on the bike..

Good to see you out again Greg. Charlie was going so well too on clune before his inevitable mechanical ! Big Al on another level. Chapeau to all who plugged round in the rain and cold.

50 mles, felt like 150 miles...... that'll teach me having 9 pints the night before  

What a miserable morning. Bunch doing a thru and off from the start just to keep warm. In Greenock I was having a problem with my right pedal. Thought it was cleat problem but oh no just after the Gourock lighthouse it came off The crank has just disintegrated inside. Single pedal back to Gourock railway station. Freezing now got train to Bishopton. Asked station man if could leave bike . The officious wee s...e was not for helping but fortunately the guys in the nearby newsagents were very kind. Invited me in to keep warm and looked after my bike. Q bikes next stop for me

Going out tonight, but hopefully be up in time to catch youse at 10 thru Bishy

I second that Alan, top rate organisation from chung. Good flyers for info, for all. Telephone numbers sheet, also great idea. And the convoy, making the riders feel at ease in a safe as possible environment. great stuff!

Well, it's actually more to tell them what all the fuss is about outside their front door!
 
Hats off to our trusty posties, as just doing that on just half of the street tired me out, especially when it started to rain too I wouldn't even last one day as a postman :-/ Respect John!
