martin got a reaction from Roberto in The Joansin do Flanders
What a weekend with the Joansin family. Could not have asked for better company, weather, digs, food or cycling.
Looking forward to reliving it all when Chung gives us his full account of the weekend and others sharing their pics and stories. Thanks to all for making it such a memorable event. Same time next year, I hope.
PS yes I'm biaised, but Jets were the best drilled bunch in Flanders.

Thanks for making the young team welcome, and thanks for the route. Youngsters all enjoyed it and the Dairy's cakes.

Thanks for the route Dave, a great day out in the sunshine for the first run of the year on the summer bike. It was good to have the Jets join us, it made for a good sized bunch and added to the day.

Group of ten today including jets and parents made our way to Dunlop Dairy via Barmill cuircuit road which is in a poor state of potholes and resulted in a puncture. Picked up Mia and then met Boyd at the Dairy for coffee and scones and cake. Home via Lugton and Peesweep hill to Johnstown. Thanks for company and banter and best wishes to the troops heading to Belgium next weekend.

Charlie, we could do a joint birthday celebration as it will be the midway point between our birthdays. Also, I won’t be at work the next day.

7:45 at Bridge? Thought it was a 7:30 start from clubrooms? I’ll have to leave the house at 7 if that’s the case! Are we not the Johnstone Wheelers?

Good day out today, hope everyone else enjoyed it too. It turns out the cakes were a thank you to the Jets for pacing me up the Haylie?!

Well looks like the plan is back on, Myself, David Cathcart and David Borland(Once he figures out the PBP Webiste) Inspired by and following in the footsteps of JWCC PBP Legend IRONMAN Campbell will attempt the 1200km ride... To be honest when we talked about it in the pub I thought they were talking about the Famous Paris Brest French dessert... Only a matter of riding a 200, 300, 400 and 600km before June, If anyone else is interested in coming and has a qualifying ride last year 300km and in a week 200km can pre-register let us know! Weirdos Welcome!

Aye good day to be out. Would agree with Colin that the bunch riding of the 930 was real smooth. Jumped ship to get the 900 bunch up the haylie and that also functioned as a good unit. Was planning to cut off at kilbirnie but was lured back to try Gerards cakes and have to say they were brillant as were the energy bars. Sorry Alan, still can't stand parsnips.
Worked off some of the calories by returning on the back roads to kilbirnie in spring like conditions ..fab day.

Jets went round (most) of the week route today. We had to split our bunch and the leader of the main bunch took a wrong turn on the gateside road and ended up in Beith. This meant none of us rode the Bridesmill road.
Other than that course fine: just stuff we know. A bit rutted along the bottom of the Barrmill circuit and also a bit rough before the 30 sign at Howwood down the Bowfield.
