Charlie, Stevie, Billy and myself are planning a ride on the Cowal. Suggested route: Hunter’s Quay to Ardentinny; Strachur; Glendaruel; Kyles of Bute; Tighnabruich; Otter Ferry; Ballochondrain; Loch Tarsan, Hunter’s Quay. Just shy of 100 miles Note: plan is to drive down unless you want to do 100 miles + 18 each way to and from the ferry! Hot, hilly, a new cafe in Kames where they fill your bottle with water and frozen lemons! C11 and other climbs still as steep and hard, but all that was almost forgotten as we enjoyed new tarmac on the run in.
