Wheel sucking from outside Largs all the way home Got a bit of a second wind thanks to the tailwind that made an appearance at long last!!!! Wasn't expecting that headwind into Largs, which made riding at the front a tough shift. Paul timed his attack brilliantly, I thought. Shortened run up the Haylie and home was fine. Waited for Graham at the Bagel basket and stayed with him up the Hayle. Then tried to chase down those who had gone on ahead. Got within 100 metres of Paul C before he turned off the track and then got within 100 metres of 3 joansin who turned off the track at Kilbarchan. Damn fine work out despite running out of gas at the Hurlet and pootling home at a sedate pace. 85 miles done and extremely tired legs. Spied Chung at eastwood toll. Highlight of the day!
