Just had a fone call regarding this event.

Harry has informed people it isnt on , so we need a publicity campaign to let people know its on and when. Suggest posting details on Braveheart,SC,audax sites plus as many other club websites as possible complemented by some posters in bike shops.

Unfortunately my PC isnt reliable enough at present to do any of above :-x

Thats a bummer Vicky you are not going to be up north , i thought what a chance to chat up Vicky for 12 hours !!!!

Helping out is what i will be doing certainly not riding it !!!! Im daft but not mad.

Going on last years Century ride it was a fantastic day out.

All levels of ability mixing it together for a social run.

Lets hope the sun is out too!!!

Brian, what exactly is it that you do on a Friday night to make Saturday mornings such a struggle? Tch, you should be setting us a better example than this.

I am...cycling is too hard....socialising is great....until the next morning 8-)

what do you think i was training for at the RAS ......

From the North side of the Clyde by bike go out to the Erskine Bridge ..cross it ...down the bike / ped exit turn right stay on the pavement ignore the return bridge entry and take the first right into Erskine Hospital... carry on down the drive over any speed bumps etc and there's a big building on the LHS with a big car park and a wee building nearby on the North side of the car park...

The only other way I can describe it is as part of the Erskine Sprint Triathlon bike leg route... after you go down the big hill away from Erskine go through the roundabouts and at the one after you've gone under the bridge on ramp go right.. that's usually about the point where you question if 12 mph is ok in a triathlon...

As for 12 hour helper vs. Harry's Hunner... no contest..anyway the 12 hr is on the Sunday at 6am...plenty time to get up there........

Hi Simon

sorry I won't be able to ride this weekend, but fingers crossed for good weather and a healthy turn out.

Can JWCC members keep their eyes 'peeled' and their ears open for Finn Ramones - over from Australia and stayingin the Westend (of Glasgow) - who may well join the ride and the club 8-)

have a good one

Darryl
