  2. I have a bike bag that you can use - just let me know when you want it. Pete
  3. Guys, Does anyone have a set of keys for the container, or know where they are left in the Club House? Pete
  4. Celine, I think that I have just about recovered from our little MTB trip into the hills behind Lochwinnoch - you're a very impressive rider and both Judi and I wish you all the best for the future. You will always be welcome back at JWCC. Pete
  5. Guys, I won't be down tonight or next week due to other pressing engagements on the piste. See you all for the TT night. Pete ps. will set up the new Computrainer on my return
  6. I will be there - does he do windscreen replacement too???? Pete
  7. Harry Blane and myself will be riding. Pete
  8. Please can I remind all the members who make use of the new equipment that they should check their bikes before leaving the clubrooms to ensure that they do not take the cadence magnets with them - we are already missing the magnets from three of the five TT's in operation and it is unfair on other members who want to make full use of the facility. Also can I remind all users of the equipment, whether it be the rollers, turbo's or the circuit training kit, that you need to pay £1 for each night - this is not a "voluntary" donation! Thanks, Pete
  9. Guys, If you want the benefit of the workout, but without all the hassle of falling over etc. I have a Nordic track Excer skier, that i would be quite happy to set up in the Club rooms - of course provision of beautiful women, cheap booze and fags (cigarettes that is) are not included! Pete
  10. To the Tuesday and Thursday nighters, If you have borrowed Training Plans or turbo programmes, please can you return them to the Clubrooms so that others can use them. Thanks, Pete
  11. Gordon, Thats brilliant - there's quite a few that I've not read so will enjoy taking advantage of your generosity. Thanks again, Pete
  12. Gerry, Excuses excuses!!! (says the man who has not been on a Club run for 12 months!) - I suspect that there is enough spare kit in the Storeroom that you could borrow to make you look like one of the Team. Are you coming down next Tuesday night - we could see what is available then. Pete
  13. Thanks guys - the books would be welcome. You can choose if you want to donate or just lend them - if the latter, make sure that you put your name on the inside cover. Thanks again, Pete
  14. Will it include all the down load info from your SRM cranks???????? Roll on 2056!!!! Pete
  15. Guys, Just floating an idea - I have loads of training books etc (I've read them all, but didn't get any fitter - am I doing something wrong?)just sitting on the shelves at home. I thought that we could have a shelf in the Club rooms so members could borrow/refer to them. Any views on workability/donations etc? Pete
  16. Please can all current keyholders let me know by PM so that I can publish a full list. If you have no objection to your phone nos. being published, please add these as well. Thanks, Pete
  17. Kenny, I have asked Iain to prepare an Order Form online - what do the size numbers represent in actual sizes ie is a 5 = XL = 38/40" ?????? Pete
  18. Guys, I'm happy to come down and open up, but might not be able to stay, so I could leave the keys and get them back some other time. Unless someone is actually going to organise the circuit, I suggest that individual turbo sessions are called for- I can supplt HRM's and turbo programmes. Testing, weighing and fat % will be done at the end of the month, so you have time for the diets to work! Pete
  19. Kenny, progress should be spectacular then - a public weigh in is called for!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pete
  20. All, Nothing seemed to happen this week - can we make a start next Tuesday (thursday is planned for the COMMITTEE!)- warm up 7.00 /7.30 + 1.5 hours of pain! The rollers are set up and the equipment is out (ps. has anybody seen the large Swiss exercise ball?) - all we need is a warm up leader! We can also work out where you are at in terms of weight, fat % and fitness if required so that you can monitor your progress over the winter, and we can supply any number of turbo/training programmes - let me know if anyone is interested. Pete
  21. All, In view of the number of members who cannot make it tomorrow night, it has been decided that the meeting will be postponed until a more suitable date. Apologies for the late notification and any inconvenience that this may cause. A new date will be posted early next week. Regards, Pete
  22. Ian/Kenny, I would like to ride the Hill Climb and will not be around until 15th - I thought that we held it during the day so light should not be a problem in early Oct. Thanks, Pete
  23. Campbell, Don't forget that we owe Jim Daly some money back due to lack of change on the night. Cheers, Pete
