Anyway you missed the best of the year - by a mile. At least 6 wheelers and 2 jets I can remember and about 16 in total. Brilliant run round the usual route to Howwood. And we saw more JWCC in the shape of Bill and Iain between W Kilbride and Dalry. Pace was keeping moving and chapeau to Lewis and double chapeau to Sarah, just brilliant to see them riding 70 miles in the cold when it usually take a few years to get that sort of stamina. Even better to see Lewis and Sarah both out today and looking comfortable over 70 miles. Looking forward to more sunny days like that one! So this is a good example of excuses. Alan's one is a good try but simply needed more work. Good use of context given recent temperatures. However fatally flawed because the roads were fine and he's on Strava with a run today. George's excuse sounds like he cannae be a*sed.
