Mark O
As requested by Mac(I've not been seen in the Bunch for nearly a month)Bagel, and at the risk of much derision from the rank and file for a no show yesterday because it was cold and a wee bit icy, I'm suggesting an ice free run to Largs, coffee and buns at the BB onto West Kilbride and return via Dalry etc. Full coast an option depending on numbers, time and conditions under tyre. Who is in, going to be out or will be there. Usual depart at 09.00 from Miller Street, subject to subsequent posted changes M

Mark O
Guys what was turning out to be a decent run was cruelly cut short due to mechanical failure. Luckily the bloke in the van who stopped to give me a lift to the station, we shall call him Dave for that was indeed his name was heading to hillington and gave me a run back to Miller St. Former cyclist type personage and a gentleman to boot. Cheers Dave. So I got home no problem. Hope you enjoyed the tailwind home and made McPhee do a few more turns on the front. M

Guest GEORGE DONNELLY
Glad you got a lift ok, Mark. 3 chains got shipped today & yours is the one that jams. Hard cheese indeed. Anyway, let's talk about MY day! Grim in the headwind but fairly motoring from Wemyss Bay onwards. Chas & I fairly knocked it in to each other. Great fun. Sadly, I'm probably destined to never beat the old codger in a sprint. Speaking of old codgers, Charlie's old school chum, Bill, banged his head after coming off today, hope you are ok. Hope Andy is feeling better too. Was feeling a bit crook after a rogue scone. You know what they say: here today, scone tomorrow....

Guest GEORGE DONNELLY
Mark you should be use to mechanicals as you ride shimano Buy quality and you can ride in campag confidence This coming from the man who limped home with a "mechanical" yesterday. Or was it another whopper from the Billy book of excuses? Sed book is now thicker than Harry Potter's book of spells
Guest EPCC
Technically Yesterday was due to replacement block falling out my non campag brake block holder Now rectified as block and holder are in. harmony and Italian
Mark O
Predictably predictable MacB. Again you wurnae there so your comments should be struck from the record. My shimano kit has lasted over 20 years on that bike a hiccup every other decade has got to be allowed.
