2023 Subscriptions martin Posted November 11, 2012 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted November 11, 2012 Danny Mul and me will be out for the Largs component. Planning to avoid the West Ferry though. We'll head down the Clune and ride out via the cloch, listening for Billy and Charlie. The bloke's not well... Guest GEORGE DONNELLY
That'll be the winter training started then. Glad we did the full route, legs now pleasantly gubbed. Think I'll be watching songs of praise in my jammies.
2023 Subscriptions martin Posted November 11, 2012 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted November 11, 2012 Definitely the start of the winter mileage. Cracking morning for a run - Danny and me had a fine 50. Glad we got to the BB before the Joansin hoard descended like locusts. See me? See happy? Was the rest of the main bunch run eventful? The bunch split with half going up the Hailie and the other half heading towards Ardrossan. Very nice ride out today. Good to see you and the young un...and note for future reference, when the cafe owner refers to the young uns, he's on about Danny not you Mul. martin
Guest EPCC
Good run and fair sized bunch with the usual start stop for the first few miles Good blast into Largs and a fair pace back Note to self don't drink too much before Sunday rides also weights make heavy legs

2023 Subscriptions Gummers Posted November 11, 2012 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted November 11, 2012 Great day, legs are properly tired after a brisk journey home after Largs. We took the high road, then Kilwinning, Kilbirnie then cycle track. Pace ramped up somewhat towards Johnstone so thanks Mark and Gorgeous for the tow by that stage. Mark O
Ditto all of the above. Also glad I did the full coast. Legs were beginning to feel it by the time we got to Johnstone. Pretty brisk pace from Largs down to and through the 3 towns. Ditching the front muddy. Having it on is like pedalling with the brakes on.
