Have you booked a bus or taxi to get you + bikes from airport to hotel, or will there be scheduled buses outside ?

Scott D
Hi Billy, Could you PM me the number for the transfer co, and I can phone them to ask how much much it would cost to add me+ bike bag to the booking. Or alternatively could you contact them and ask the same question. I would be getting dropped off about 3km away from the Duva, at Pollensa Park Hotel. Scott D
Hi Billy. I'm flying on the same flight as you (JET2 0700 on thursday). I'm getting a different flight back, so only need the transfer to hotel in 1 direction.
Guest EPCC
Scott I can't add you on the shuttle bus however you can do it by contacting 08004085597 See you Thursday
Scott D
No problem Billy. A wee bit of web browsing revealed ResortHoppa.com offers cheap transfers. I've opted for the limited stop (maximum 4) for £25.99 return. This is the standard webfare and then applying the voucher code "aprilmay" at checkout for an additional discount. There may be a surcharge for the bike it says, and I will find out when I arrive.
Guest EPCC
It cost us £16 I think

2023 Subscriptions Ramsay Posted April 18, 2013 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted April 18, 2013 You can pick up good maps out there. There is also a good wee guide with suggested routes that is written and sold by Pro Bikes in Puerta Pollenca. r
Richie Cross
Am I right in thinking i read that Sa Calobra is only about 30 miles away from where we're staying?? Remember that you climb, descend but its a dead end so the only way is back up. I'd like to be able to do that as a full club run at least
Scott D
Think its a bit further. Heres an "out n back" from puerto pollenca to sa calobra. http://ridewithgps.com/routes/1538435 You'd probably want to do a loop and come back another way, so then your talking about 100k
Guest EPCC
It's about 60 miles but you have to climb over a couple of hills to get there So like Scott says most of the routes to this is a loop also note it should be done early due to tourist traffic
Scott D
I was thinking of setting up a Whatsapp group for the JWCC Mallorca trip. Whatsapp is the most popular smartphone app that allows people to share photos, comments, jokes, video across any phone platform (blackberry, iphone, nokia etc). If you dont have the app already, it costs 69p from the app stores. Any in favour, pm your email addresses mobile number and I'll set it up. Edit: It seems it works via mobile numbers, not email addresses, with messages sent/received when the app has an internet connection. charlie p
