Committee Alan McLean Posted August 22, 2011 Committee Report Share Posted August 22, 2011 Hi Colin I'd like to change my original points prediction from Hushovd, who apparently is not racing, to Phinney for 3rd place (I think). Thanks A
Administrators Jannza Posted August 23, 2011 Administrators Report Share Posted August 23, 2011 These pros are mucking up our predictions!
Colin H
So Cav has chucked it Never mind. Just means no additional bonus points for anyone (not even Richard who could also have predicted that he wouldn't finish ) As for the points classification, Ramsay is the only one not to have selected Cav in any of the top 3 places. Bet your feeling really smug about that one big man Colin
Colin H
Vuelta TT: 1st Cancellara 2nd Wiggins 3rd T Martin Not been following it closely so total punt as to whether big Fab and Martin are still in the race. Colin
Members Richard
My stab in the dark for the ITT: 1) Cancellara 2) Wiggins 3) Tony Martin Based on today's events, I think the rest of this tour is going to be uncomfortable viewing for me. Administrators Jannza Posted August 30, 2011 Administrators Report Share Posted August 30, 2011 How did you and Kenny go up from points in the TT?
Colin H
Jann, Still not sure what you mean but let me try to clarify: Both Kenny and I predicted Wiggins and Martin in the top 3 however did not get the placings correct. As a result we score 4 points each (that would be 2 for each rider) and in my case moves me from 246 points to 250 points (1 ahead of you and Richard ). Hope this helps. Administrators Jannza Posted August 30, 2011 Administrators Report Share Posted August 30, 2011 Ah that makes sense, I thought you had to get the riders in the correct order to get any points.
Colin H
Always has been the case that you get 2 points for each rider in the top 3 regardless of placing. No need for appology, just don't let it happen again or I will doc you points lol. Colin
Colin H
Right people, Tour of Britain starts this weekend and Cav is apparently riding. Predictions required for top 3 overall and top 3 for final days TT. Final day TT not required till the day before. In recognition of Cav's participation additional 10 points will be awarded for accurate predictions of how many stages he will win.
