I'm thinking I might establish 'The Billy Macdonald Survivors Centre' on Holy Isle. There'll be statues and stuff like that, peaceful sanctuaries, sunken gardens, watt bike powered pedalos and other random stuff

Billy, it does pass, eventually. But not before you contemplate the meaning of life, chucking cycling forever, taking up sewing or even golf etc. The only thing that got me through was the absolute belief that DA will happen this year.
I am convinced I am on the mend now after my premature snowy bogs bunch and 1/2 cyclocross race last weekend.

He's been very dignified in his fight against this debilitating scourge and hasn't publicised his perilous plight as he hates attention.

I've decided to sell up all my worldly belongings, but not my bikes, and start an 'man flu' research centre , Billy will be pleased to hear this too

well that was tough... was struggling big time going into Ardrossan then off the back going out of Kilwinning followed by cramping most of the way along the road to Barrhead.  Been doing plenty of short sharp intervals and track racing but its no substitute for miles in the legs.

Should be fun we are going out Wedensday so will get riding Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday and due to flight times will get a ride in on Monday its up your street climbing and warm
Flight easy jet to Malaga 1600 on Wedensday return 1900 Monday

Good to see you all today. Jets looked very assured. Sorry I had to peel off, but I knew if I stayed with you it would have been messy in the end. Tough over the Haylie though - block head wind into the snow!
