Great fun but hard 12 lap scratch is not for me never really in it , declined the devil thought I could get some points in the points race but never really had the brick kick, then went to the front for a few laps in the scratch didn't want to stay at the front but was too knackered to move out of the front got swamped and pumped out the back, very enjoyable

DArn good to be back after 10 weeks! Always a sore one getting back into the rhythm, me Ian and Billy in B with Alan in C. Lots of jets as always. 27 riders in B making for a hectic group. In the first scratch I finished in 6th beside Ian, not sure about Moi. In the devil Ian did a virtuouso on the front for a good few laps, I got pumped with about 9 left, I saw Ian down to last 5. Next up was points and I scored a paltry 1 which will likely get me about 7th or 8th, Ian scored in a couple of sprints so he will be near the top. Billy gave me a splendid lead out for my one point. Final scratch and again Ian and I finished side by side, making a habit of this in scratch races, in about 10th.
 

I was really looking forward to this race(kind of) and after a few practice laps it seemed a great course. David C, Davie B and Alex B and myself were in the B race, Alex and Davie B were gridded due to some strong performances this season. It was a good start an the Wheelers well positioned, Davie B may have even got the "hole shot" . On  the first lap we came to a long cobbled lane, this is where Davie B was taken down by a rider who had slipped on the cobbles, I saw the photos of the crash and it looked bad, what followed was a stramash behind and I was taken down, chris boardman can stick his advice where the sun doesn't shine about helmets, as I would have cracked my head on the cobbles without one(bring on Flanders eh). Delaireur broken! Race over for me ... I met up with the guy(broken wheel and derailleur) who crashed into Davie and we thought he had taken me out, he was very apologetic about ruining my race and even bought me a coffee, it wasn't until I saw the photos I realised it was Davie he had taken down(I owe him a coffee)
 
I watched the rest of the race and Davie B was going great at one point he was in fifth place, Alex and David C had a little battle going until Alex took a load off places back in last lap. It was a great event and the wheelers looked very strong, I would have like a few more laps but hey That's Cyclocross!

Did you go for Colnago bars stem seat post , was going to get a Parle but Velocity 44 not treating me as I would expect to be so back to C60 DA or Nevi Titanium

No for me hope to be in the high mountains of France, good ride though watch out for the underpasses , they can bite you

I have been using this guy for a Power Phase very cycling specific if anybody looking for a wee boost prior to the season starting

It's a horrible entry page. The date and time formats are very precise. Times are hh:mm:ss 2 digits in each place, even if it's 00 for hours. The date format is dd:mm:yyyy. Do not be fooled that it says you only need 2 digits for the year.
The entry for district then club I tried a couple of variations before I found one it accepted, and I can't remember which one it was. I then ignored the time entries on the next page.
The good news is, I think you only have to register once.....

Still dreaming a heat wave will hit the west coast Friday night but in case it doesn't yes

Weather has improved a bit now just 40 mph sleet so will check nearer the time but thinking if on a bike it will be inside

Canyon looks like no good, mid-end of May Aero SLX 9.0. have Majorca mid May, so won't be here in enough time. Billy the Parlee looks amazing but a bit out of my price range!

Just checking the forecast and it looks pretty awful. If it improves I may join you. If it really is as bad as the forecast, perhaps consider a double sufferfest or similar?

The choice is massive
