Fair point - although i think it would be spread out more than usual for this bit because of the mechanical which caused a split. Probably not helped with the intermediate sprint too, some go for it whereas some dont which mean the bunch spreads out too....probably better to scrap that altogether (could make the clune and finish the top 4 riders that count instead).
 

Well done to Richard tonight breaking the Georgetown record for a fixed gear with a 14:56. 
That placed him 2nd overall to John A (who broke the record he set last week with a 13:20 - Katie also broke the womens record to with a 15:10!)

Just a quick note , run leaves club rooms at 0900 , would like to keep the cafe stop as short as possible, so please don’t order a three course meal , it will also let those who want to finish of the day at Amereto

Can’t believe Jesse chased down Alan Mcb and me on the GT. We used to be mates. And word is Galeb was soft pedalling on the Westferry saving himself for the Clune. I need a faster pace to stop all this subterfuge.  Too much fun in this group. Not enough pain.

Another cracking night with a big bunch....all i can say is tonight is the last time i ride the Clune with any sort of panache....i am not the fat Pantani.

Not felt that bad on a bike in years. Felt ill on first climb but decided to plod on as I am an absolute idiot.
If someone had jumped out the trees on C11 and mugged me for my bike I’d have been delighted.
