  1. Sorry to hear of the spill - all the best to both for a speedy recovery. Iain
  2. Great stuff Chung- just sorry I couldn't make it - brings back a few memories! Iain
  3. Loads out and about today! First Jann and Ian Manson on the track heading towards the clubrooms from Lochwinnoch,, quickly followed by the welcome sight of Ramsay (back on two wheels) and Elaine on the same route. At the lochside cafe were John and Rita and Carol and Dave who had missed the bunch earlier. After the cafe Carol, Dave and I joined forces for a bit, up the back road to Beith then back via Gateside, the rocky road and down Bowfield. Thanks to them the company on a great day to be out on a bike Iain
  4. Excellent news Martin! Chapeau and good luck to both Iain
  5. John_s around 1pm this afternoon heading west on the track at Glengarnock. I was lowering the tone in a distinguished group of sept and octogenarians heading the other way at a gentlemanly pace - fixed wheel and muddies today - almost time to put the good bike away! Iain
  6. Well done to all - superb win from Richard in a tough wind - outstanding effort (again) from Adam Iain
  7. Bill T and myself headed out in glorious autumn sunshine this morning for a backroads hilly tour of Renfrewshire and Inverclyde. Kilbarchan, backroads to Lochwinnoch, round by the golf course then up the steep brae to the Kilmaclom road, down Phil's Folly, round by South Newton, over to the top of the Whinn, then back via Kilmacolm, Ingilston, Bishopton and Erskine to the Red Smiddy where we parted for home. About 40 miles for Bill, around 55 for me. Great morning out with outstanding views, Bill on good form and great company as ever. Iain
  8. Forecast looks fine so I'm going to head out for some miles to-morrow. Not bothered much where (as long as it's not the coast road!) - maybe 40-60 miles from the clubrooms. Company welcome if it suits anyone I can be at Miller St for 9.30am. Please post here if interested - I will check at 10pm tonight. If no takers I'll do my own thing but won't go via Miller St. Thanks Iain
  9. Paul L solo on the A77 about 11:30 this morning. I was in the duo who passed in the opposite direction just north of Fenwick - gave a shout but probably lost in the wind! Iain
  10. All the best Greig - thanks for your company over the past few years. Good Luck to Elaine for the half marathon and op. Look forward to seeing you both out and about. Iain and Mary

  12. Well done to all, particularly the PBers! Thanks to Ian McG and David Hazle for doing the necessary and also to Iain Couttie for the loan of a 2nd rear light for the ride home (as they say, short term memory the first to go!) Iain
  13. Quite superb - chapeau to all the Jets, parents & coaches! I guess Sunday can't come soon enough for some Iain
  14. Well done to all on a fine morning for a great cause - really impressive to see how this event has grown in such a short time! Not JWCC's year, but some fine efforts nonetheless. Super PB from Alan M, and great effort from Andy in the unfamiliar TT (and on the borrowed bike!) - great to see Emma and Adam riding too. Iain

Kenny Mac's development group, the confined events, training camps on Skye, and not least your heroic efforts on Callum's Road on the occasion of your 18th birthday!
