2023 Subscriptions Ramsay Posted September 26, 2013 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted September 26, 2013 This is it, the last confined event of the 2013 season. We are still in discussions about a road closure, but regardless we will run the senior event and we can have over 12s as well. Will update ASAP. Suggest we meet at 10:00 for sign on and then have first rider off at 10:30. So a bit of time to practice, warm up etc. This also allows time for people to come and ride, then go out on a club run. I will be there to timekeep, but we need at least one more timekeeper and preferably a few marshals and holder-uppers. Looking forward to seeing everyone there. 2023 Subscriptions Ramsay Posted October 3, 2013 Author 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted October 3, 2013 Big thanks to Renfrewshire Council for granting us a road closure for Sunday's event. This means that all the Jets can race. We will need a couple of marshalls when the closure is in place. Looking forward to it. :banana :banana Richard
2024 Subscriptions Darryl Gunson Posted October 4, 2013 2024 Subscriptions Report Share Posted October 4, 2013 Happy to help out in any way. Any objection to letting my boy Robert ride? He will wear his Jets jersey if allowed even though he has lapsed. He's got the bike bug back now though. Let me know, just to avoid disappointing him. Cheers Darryl
FergusM
Whatup. I've promised to be in work (Braehead) no later than 1130. Any chance I can get a fairly early start position? Cheers

Members Richard
Massive thanks to Ramsay, Kenny, Martin, Elaine, and everyone else who helped out this morning. Really well done for securing the road closure - it's a better event for having the kids there, too. Did someone sweep the leaves from the road in the middle section of the climb? It looked like a brush had been put to good use. If that was you, cheers! The roadside support was appreciated as well. Some of the adults really dug deep in the last 100 yards. Well done to all of you, and special congratulations to Fergus, Elaine and Lewis. martin and Ramsay

FergusM
I believe Davy Thomson swept the road - good job Davy! Thanks to Ramsay and the other timekeepers and everyone who helped with push off and sign-on. Pleasantly surprised to see I got the better of Richard and Lewis, sorry I couldn't hang around to watch the youths race and hear the results.
