2023 Subscriptions P McDonald Posted July 30, 2013 Author 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted July 30, 2013 Hows the roll call looking for Saturday then? Looks like me, Billy, Andy, George, David T, Colin, Hugh. Any with previous thinking about it - Alan M or Davie B? Or those who seem to have disappeared off planet earth - Ross - you still out there? Guest Georgio McFlanderio
Will try my knees out on turbo tonight. They have improved from very sore to very stiff. Will decide for sure tomorrow. I'm keen to go so might just load up on tramadol.
DavieB
Paul, Whilst my new Canyon (still to be road tested) is most certainly suited to this challenge I, at present, am probably not. Keen to do it but will decide nearer the time. D
Guest Georgio McFlanderio
Abortive turbo today followed by trip to physio. Physio said no bike for a week. For £34 he told me I walk like Charlie Chaplin, have a right hip as stiff as 60yr old & that for a cyclist I have underdeveloped quads. Not the most uplifting half hour I've had of late. Have a good un.

DavieB
A radical departure from the norm for me ...on this occasion I will err on the side of common sense and forego the trip. Hardly been on a bike for 3 weeks and will be out on the new one for the first time proper. Will aim for getting out on the Sunday run at least for a bit. Good luck. 2023 Subscriptions P McDonald Posted August 1, 2013 Author 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted August 1, 2013 Roll call time. Who will be at ferry 7am. Weather looks good for Brodick Saturday. 14-15c from 8am and dry ! SW wind would favour an anti clockwise route to take advantage of the flat 20 miles at the far side.
