2023 Subscriptions P McDonald Posted February 10, 2013 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted February 10, 2013 Entered for the sprint night, which talking to Jeanette should be a mix of Kierens and devils. She is trying to get 3 Kierens for everyone. Something different and what better way to spend a Wednesday night? Darryl Gunson

2023 Subscriptions P McDonald Posted February 13, 2013 Author 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted February 13, 2013 Always been curious as to where you get this live info Jann? Anyway, a smaller turnout than usual from JWCC and jets but still plenty jets but only me and Alan in the seniors. Katie won one of the partnered youth races which was inspiring and magnificent. It inspired Alan to 3rd in one of the keirens. It inspired me to win a Kieren and get 3rd in two others. Great fun having the change to Kierens for a night. Committee Alan McLean Posted February 16, 2013 Committee Report Share Posted February 16, 2013 Massive chapeau to Paul whose sprinting skills are fantastically well suited to the keirin. If he doesn't watch out Janette will throw him into the A's very soon. But the other big excitement was the youths who were right up there in every race. They had a flying 200, devil, hares and hounds (girls get a half lap start in a 10 lap race) and a 6 lap dash. Jets were in the top 30% of every race. I think the devil had 4 Jets out of top 10 Jets. I think track league finishes soon. It's been a great winter. Hope to see some of you there for the last few races. Alan

Committee Alan McLean Posted February 16, 2013 Committee Report Share Posted February 16, 2013 See "Fredcast" podcast. Fred=guy of a certain age who can ride but might be a tiny bit like a 95kg dentist in Rapha on a new Colnago with Super Record on a sportive. Definitely not you and hopefully not me. I think it's an affectionate term. I have affection for anyone who goes out on our awful roads. I can also see how I might look to the uninitiated at the CHVD. KennyS
Not so sure about it stopping soon, Alan. SC CEO Craig Burn came to WoSCA meeting last year saying that SC Track League would run for 50 weeks of year
