Twenty Two Years of Glory !!!!!! (and where will he be? Delhi. looking after our stars on bikes) Categories, as always, will include :- age related , weight categories and special novice award for our new members and much more. Again, for a couple of hours on a Saturday morning the hill will we be ours. Bring along the family. Get on your bike. Get on the roadside. Make some noise We're also looking for volunteers as we need to marshall the roadblock top and bottom. These will will be rotated on the day. KennyS
Sadly, I won't be there this year as I'll be with Mr Christie and Mr McGinty on the last leg of our Hebridean tour freewheeling down to Inverness from Ullapool as you guys are climbing I'm sure you could be given an early start if you speak nicely to the timekeeper. Ah. The timekeeper!!!! Any volunteers. Need two. One top and one bottom along with a couple of marshalls. One top and one bottom

Although, she has helped out twice already this year and isn't even a member..... She's also on a hen night tonight, so may be bleary eyed! See you tomorrow. 2023 Subscriptions martin Posted October 2, 2010 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted October 2, 2010 Results Thanks to all riders, timekeepers, recorders, pusher-offer, helpers and parents for making today's event a success. Thanks also to Renfrewshire Council for arranging the road closure. The rain held off, which meant a dry road and some fast times. 18 Jets contested the Elliston Shield, and 15 riders took part in the senior event. Well done all. Times and placings below, I'll leave it to the race secretary Mr Steele to work out all the records and the winners in the age and weight classifications. Youth Race place name time 1 Alana Steele 1.09 1 Danny Mulholland 1.09 3 Hamish Maclaren 1.14 4 Lewis King 1.20 4 Sean Callaghan 1.20 6 Cameron Forsyth 1.22 7 Lucy Broadfoot 1.27 8 Lusia Steele 1.30 9 Ross Forsyth 1.38 10 Cameron Broadfoot 1.39 10 Jack Barclay 1.39 12 Lewis Steele 1.40 13 Andrew Carey 1.44 14 Olivia Kitchen 1.50 14 Andrew Macleod 1.50 16 Ryan Broadfoot 1.56 17 Benjamin Kitchen 1.59 18 Eilidh Low 2.33 Senior Race place name time 1 Ramsay Muirhead 1.32 2 David Thomson 1.35 3 Claire Macaulay 1.41 4 Jonathan Mitchell 1.42 5 Greg Balden 1.45 6 Jim Daly 1.46 7 Barrie McCutcheon 1.50 7 James MacDonald 1.50 9 Alan Mclean 1.51 10 Mike Ferguson 2.15 11 Campbell Crombie 2.30 12 Lindsay Brown 2.31 13 Iain Macaulay 2.33 14 Jan Lapsley 4.41 There was also one unattached rider (number 51) whose time can't count in the club championship: Paul Friel, 1.40.
