Richard Binnie
Kenny Sorry in London with my youngest that weekend, his football team has won a trip to the David Beckham acadamy, so no chance of being able to miss it. Otherwise would really have enjoyed giving it a go. Richard
Colin H
I'd be up for that Any plans to have some specific training in the back art of TTT'ing (especially with more than 2 in the team)? Colin
2023 Subscriptions Ramsay Posted July 13, 2009 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted July 13, 2009 Would really love to, but also have a wedding that weekend, in London! Next year.

Frank
I'll have a go at this although the others in the TT squad look scarily strong! In the words of Anne Robinson, it's likely to be a case of " Frank, you are the weakest link - goodbye!" as I'm shelled oot the back But what the heck, put me down as a yes! 2023 Subscriptions gregbalden Posted July 15, 2009 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted July 15, 2009 I would also be interested in doing this, would the 25 be a good time for TTT practise as its a similar distance? Greg
Iain Cowden
Like Frank the others in the group look a bit rapid to me! Still I'll give it a go if there's no-one quicker. Iain
Seb
I'd be up for this and should be around that weekend.. Would be good to see a few teams from the club racing. Hope to make some of the TT's over the next few weeks to see how far down the pecking order I've slid. Some good times posted in recent results by many of the regulars Seb
vicky begg
Much as I like to support events, unless a team is even vaguely matched then it makes working together as a team very difficult. I really hadn't planned on racing much at all this year, unless for fun, so if others are willing to take the event on in with this in mind I don't mind giving it a shot. I'll do the 25tt the next week. Vicky
Guest Jim Daly
I'll have a go. We really need Iain, Gary and a race ready George for this, though. I must say that the last mile of the course looks rather entertaining!
Guest Jim Daly
I've just paid £40 to Dooleys for a 4 man team entry to meet the tomorrows deadline So that's it then. We're committed. Any 4 from: Seb Kenny Greg James Frank Ian Martin Me Still time for Iain, Gary, George and any others to volunteer to take some of the pain on behalf of the club... It should still be possible to get a start for other teams but may be unofficial.
Guest Jim Daly
Still time to make a second application for another team. We have 8 riders who have declared their intention. Paul MacDonald has also declared an interest. I would suggest teams based on pb's, in the first instance. Paying £10 entry secures a turn at the front. If we all practice doing intervals of 32mph for 20 seconds and easing down to 27mph for 60 seconds for about an hour, we will be in with a shout for a medal. Seb
Still happy to do this but best put me at the bottom of the list. Due to poor planning on my part I'll be trying to ride the entire WHW on the Friday so may be a bit flat the next day. Been talking about it for a while and the 21st looks like the only day the guys interested can make. Seb
Guest Jim Daly
Based on current volunteers and subject, of course, to last minute alteration due to super-sub availability and/or injury (eg, Paul, Frank and I), I suggest: TTT: James MacD , Frank Kennedy, Paul McD, Jim D , Kenny C reserve. Support vehicle: Vicky Mechanic: Seb Back-up riders/driver/mechanics: Martin, Ian, Greg Please practice slick high speed through and off at every opportunity. Members Kenny MacDonald
James is unavailable for TTT as he has not recovered from an illness which has been working on him for past 4 weeks .
Frank
Jim, I gave the Dooleys 25TT a go today and well, the leg just didn't hold up to the strain. I can't see there being a significant recovery in time for the team timetrial. I'm out! Frank
