Great turn out tonight and very enjoyable (came 3rd in sprint after taking the short-cut). Marc Kelly has even less shame, taking the short cut and winning the sprint. Bah!
Anyway seems there are people not happy with who we ride with and what we say in the JWCC, however I'm hoping the Thursday group can stay a broad church and cope with some levity. 
Meantime going to ban myself from the Sewing Bee and Sunday groups (before I get banned). Be sad if Thursday nights went the same way as the official club rides.

Yes expensive choice for me today, should have stayed in bed, mech snapped in three places , chain plates were all twisted , got home after getting blown to the top of the braes enjoyed the decent until I grounded my pedal , got home ordered new mech and new Campagnolo chain £90 

Training for next year starts now. (or as soon as I heal this sprung Clavicle - Mountain bikes are dangerous)

im hoping the flat round section before the curve will take a mount. It looks like it might from the pictures. Probably not an ideal place to see the garmin screen though!

What ones UCI legal or not, just about to order a set not sure if I go with 35 to stay legal for the BC events or go all in . A bit expensive with Garmin Mount £112 

the new aerocoach ones. was originally going for a whole new cockpit until i saw the price of decent ones!

Great day out, weather good apart from it being blustery with hail in Cardross.
Going up the rest was a penance, into a block headwind, so Couttie tells me- I was on his wheel the whole way 
cafe in Strachur then on to Dunoon and ferry. Greg (Monsieur Tourette) and Scott headed home via Greenock and the rest of us went up The Cut. Glenn & Alex turned left at the top to leave Couttie, Cedric, Charlie and I to head home via the Haylie. That must be my slowest effort ever-gubbed.
all in all a grand day out 

Enjoyed the second hour, first was full before I could book it , and I looked magnificent in my new Black and pink skin suit

Tough couple of hours,  I knew it was going to be bad when I walked in and the cancelled Gifford race guys were all there. 

Whole year not one race, at least it’s been consistent, knee beginning to feel good again 

It seems a bit unfair - with the hilly series based on placing there is a penalty for missing an event and that penalty is in effect being put on those who want to ride but cant due to racing commitments.
 

Sea sucker , can borrow mine it’s a two bike carrier if you want to try before you buy pros totally portable, fits any car any roof including glass , cons not lockable 

Been looking at flights my plan is to go to casa MacD going 6/11 costs are easy jet 100 out 56 return £156 
Jet 2 same dates slightly earlier flight 120 out 50 return £170 
Ryan Air Late flight out 55 return 65 £120 
Ryanair Prestwick 5-12 is cheapest £71 out 29 back £100 
other options are Prestwick out on the 5 th 71 Ej back on 11 71 £142 cost for bike increase if you fly with two different airlines so if your taking the bike Jet2 or Ej might be cheaper .
I plan to drive up to Calpe Saturday or Sunday or Monday rest of the time will ride in the Costa Calida and Orihuela Costa areas , company welcome
