Paul, as previously discussed, numerous times, once the club run is posted it’s poor form to post up an alternative. Although you state your intention is not to detract from the club run this is exactly what you are doing.

I’ve spent between £6 and £30 on bar tape and never noticed any difference. Currently using Deda that cost a tenner and quite happy with it.

Hunt Wheels are good and a fraction of the cost of Zipp etc.

I’m a bit scared of what Lorne might do to us on a lighter bike! A big strong boy. Charles going well today. Had to give him a hanky as he got a nosebleed due to those turns he took at the front.....

We have plenty of elder statesmen just none with leadership skills.

Got the USE 40 degree poles with 30 degree aerocoach pads. Definitely feels more aero (on the turbo) I’ll find out how rideable it is tomorrow morning....
