Paul & Alan
Do not forget your suits as the sheriff likes u to look smart. You might also bring an overnight bag and do not worry about big Bubba

You are far to modest. Porteous & Mcbride have a lot of rough edges that need your attention. Give Paul a hand

Alan,
It's a 40miles loop with some climbing involve, I recond even if you start with the 9.45am group then you should be back around 1230ish (providing you've no mechanicals :-))
It's usually the tea & soup after in the clubroom that takes longer & keep you back
Hope to be out too!
Cheers
Chung

Too much too soon I think. Sore, freezing, in agony... basically one of the hardest days on the bike. But glad I did it (I think)

Despite the Armageddon conditions there was a bunch of over 20 who experienced the full range of Scottish winter with heavy rain, light rain, icy rain, sleety rain, driving rain and plain rain. There was the odd bit of sunshine too. Plenty JWCC present. The main roads were ok if you were carful however it was not an issue after Inchinnan as there was an almighty downpour which melted everything. Bunch stayed together to top of Kilwinning drag then rapidly disintegrated. By sprint time in Barrhead there were only 4 left !
Chapeau to all who found their inner Flandrian today and toughed it round

Correct race Alan. Don't know why entries not showing. Might be the organiser has not logged in and confirmed or something.
Best just get entered.

Was a very good call to go out today from west ferry. Would like to have joined you but just could not face hours in the cold after the leg burning at the track yesterday.

A struggle, very cold, very hard but glad to be back out on the bike. Cheers for the wheels guy's.

Roads do look dodgy but I couldn't handle another turbo session. I'm going to give it a while for the sun to come out and drive down to the coast (Inverkip or Largs) and head out from there. Mallorca is only 6 degrees with 3 mph winds...

I was thinking along Geo's lines, past largs to ardrossan or so, turn then on the return to the bb or just carry on ifnits cold
