great turn out today, fab to have so many supporting the hill climb. Jets are too light and don't have to work night shift.
 

 

I think there should be a few johnstone Jets going over. I think it clashes with youth track  champs and sxc race so fewer than usually racing but you won’t be only one in blue and yellow

great day on sunday, four jets in u14 and u16. Cedric had a great race in the elites , 26th, one behind Gary McDonald and ahead of David Lines, to be fifth Scottish based rider (I think). Certainly seemed fast on his tyres.

Hi Geo, just as Billy points out damage is due to wear and tear. For clarity Jets have never used the turbos - we are roller only. 
Regarding checks to ensure kit is respected - agreed, all we would need is a volunteer to do so.

i was great* for the first third of a lap, then squirrely rear tyre, rapidly progressing to flat, shouldered bike and had the field go past. So much for tubs

Do we have a Wheeler called John who would be prepared to race cx in V40s? I would love a race report on John, Paul and George.

The paper mache of Arran was my first school project. And my daughters. And my other daughters. And I will write in my will my solemn wish that my grandchildren .... Ok enough for now. Off for a bath with my Arran Aromatics bubble bath soak and a bottle of Arran beer.

top tip: at plean I tried cunning trick to free the mud by doing stylish bunny hop. It worked a treat.
All the mud shifted from the forks and immediately jammed the front brake, I went AoverT and ended up on my head, in the very soft mud.
the top tip is- don't do that, but I suspect everyone else knew that anyway.
Ah well, learn from your mistakes

personal highlight: riding the bridge climb AND then passing McLean  
until out of sight of Son number 2, when I let Alan past and then almost threw up

Another day out! Good turn.out for the Jets and wheelers! Jet jamie with a 5th place I think and Alan mclean with a 10th, great stuff.
 
I had a great day and everything went well.
